My father was admitted into Bethesda hospita., W ith his last week of life . I was blown away by the  staff , very lovely,  friendly and accommodating atmosphere towards their patients . I would highly recommend the hospital for it’s scenic views over looking the beach along with their professional dealings in handling my fathers palliative needs.nnThank you staff of Bethesda . Easy 5 star rating

Exceptional care from every staff member, even before admission. Compassionate, professional, friendly and supportive across all roles. The food was outstanding too. I would highly recommend this hospital.

Recently had surgery and stayed overnight at Bethesda. Overall, a fairly good experience. Sadly the walls between rooms are paper thin, not my words but those of a nurse, and the noise made it difficult to sleep post surgery. An angry PCA nurse assistant raised her voice and became very impatient with me as I walked to the bathroom on a walking frame. The food was passable, but very old-school hospital food. Other private hospital in the Western Suburbs now have menus where patients phone in their orders and receive cafe style meals. For what it is, not meeting my expectations. No need to tell me you are sorry for not meeting my expectations, the standard response seems hollow.

I had my day surgery today 13/11/25 and I was blown away by the care all the nurses, bed mover guys and everyone in between in the daycare unit  including the little area you go into before surgerynnFrom the heated blankets I was given to each check it, they made me feel seen and heard.nUnfortunately I had afew bumps in the recovery but they still smiled and gave me the upmost care, I wish I got everyone’s names but nurse Mel Thankyou for your hard work!nnIt by far was the best day produce I’ve had.

Recently, 17th November, I was admitted for surgery. The nurses on that morning / afternoon were amazing & truly helpful so I do thank you so much. On the flipside, upon waking the next morning, I was being treated quite rudely, like the nurses couldn't wait to throw me out even though I was still fairly dosed up with meds. So the day staff from the 18th November 2025, I have no good words for you & will never attend that hospital again. I pay top dollar to be treated well and that I was not. Even the physiotherapist was quite rude. I would rather wait & go public than pay so much to be treated so disgustingly.
