This was the warmest emergency experience I've ever had in Australia. We were traveling from Melbourne to Perth, and on the day we were returning to Melbourne, my back pain flared up at Perth airport, making it impossible for me to sit or stand, leaving me only able to lie down. An ambulance took us to your hospital. Although the wait in the emergency room was a bit long, the nurses frequently checked on me and provided pain relief medication. Later, they arranged a bed for me.nnThe doctor was very experienced and, knowing that we needed to be able to sit up to fly back home, immediately formulated the right treatment plan to reduce inflammation and relieve the pain. Finally, the next morning, I was able to sit up and successfully return to Melbourne.nnI am incredibly grateful to the doctors and nurses for their immense help during this time. Without you, I don't know when I would have been able to go home.nnThank you so much.

Admitted for surgery on the short stay ward 2nd surgery in recent months Jo the coordinator is great the morning staff were absolutely excellent. I would have to say you could see a big change when the handover was done and the afternoon staff started, quite disappointing but overall cannot fault this hospital they care for their patients and get on top of what's going on fast! And the surgeon team is absolutely amazing!! Finally recovering and although we don't know exactly why I keep getting the problem they are straight onto doing what needs to be done to get it resolved.nThanks to Jo and the daytime staff on short stay ward, you are amazing!

I don't know why this hospitals rating is so low I had an amazing experience here.nnI was here on the 26/08/2024 from around 9:20am. I was going through an incredibly emotionally troubling time due to my pregnancy and every single one of the hospital personnel from the receptionists to the doctors, nurses and ultrasound technicians did everything they could to reassure me and keep me calm. When my blood pressure dropped they put me in a bed, gave me some lunch and some juice and got my grandmother a cup of tea and some biscuits. The wait was a little ridiculous but I understand other patients need to be seen to as well and it isn't just me. The staff were kind, patient and heard everything I said and helped however they could. I want to have my baby here and hope I can by talking to my doctor so I have my fingers crossed. Thank you to everyone here you made my experience a memorable one for the best reasons possible!

We live in the eastern hills...next time we will bypass midland and go to Hollywood.n24hrs after presenting, my son is sitting in a corridor on a ward photo attachedn**UPDATE: one week later we took my son to Hollywood ED where they had him in a bed within 5 minutes of presenting and diagnosed via CT scan 30 minutes after presenting  -  a perforated bowel with an abscess and such high inflammation he could have died from sepsisnDr Haroon Rasheed Hollywood Private Hospital is beyond brilliant. Eternally thankful for his knowledge and care.
