I parked my car around 9.50 am. Had a meeting with JLL in the building , returning to my car at 1hr 40 minutes later , charged $65 dollars , nice round number heh. This is disgraceful on you Wilson car parks , and shall be taking this up with our partners in JLL. DISCUSTING OVER CHARGING.
Sign on boom gate states card only phone tap not accepted which was fine. So we parked our car quite far down due to reserved parks and stood at the elevator for a couple of minutes to figure out it doesn’t work. So we walked out of the car park. This is the 1 star moment: when we returned to the car at 9:16PM, we tried to pay the $15 for the parking to find the machine accepts credit cards only. Not debit, not cash, only credit cards. We attempted our card anyways which didn’t work. So we rang the intercoms which cuts in and out frequently making it difficult to understand the other person. We had to tell them 3 times that we don’t have a credit card at all that it wasn’t just not on us. They called our mobile and put as through an automation voice to pay via debit card. To which is not only rejected payment twice without reason, but even said our expiry was wrong, but then accepted it the second time we could see the numbers pressed on our screen to confirm there were no incorrect submission of numbers. Absolutely frustrating. There was mo way to exit it to speak to someone aside from calling back up, to which they just put us through the automation again. EVENTUALLY it accepted the same details we’d repeated so we could finally leave the car park, to which it had become 9.30PM+. So frustrating. It was our engagement and it absolutely put a damper on the evening. We were so concerned that they weren’t going to let us out and lock our car in for the evening as it closed at 10 since no one seemed willing to just let us out when the fault isn’t our own. Maybe update your boom gate sign to say CREDIT card only, not just “card” and have a sign on your busted elevator too. Will literally never return, we will find somewhere else much more user and customer friendly. I’d rather park my car in a river then park back here again.
The available parking is quite far down into the car park Level B3 onwards, and that's if you're lucky. Prices are reasonable for evenings and weekends. As expected, quite tight entrances and turns within the car park, and an elevator from floor B3 upwards.
The address needs to show the entrance to the carpark itself is in Eagle Lane not 345 Queen St which is the adddress of Central Plaza 1. Also I parked on a weekend, so important to note two things. 1 if you hit Ground you go into Central Plaza 1 - which you can exit out from but can re-enter. If you do this, to get you car, you need to walk into the carpark off Eagle Lane and the correct lift is to the left near the boom gates. There are two goods lifts that are more obvious but wint get you to your car. So, 2 if parking on a weekend or out if hours, I would recommend you exit the lift out of B1 instead of Ground, as then you will know which lift when you walk back into the carpark off Eagle Lane.
Had to walk down ramp to access car as no lift access Building security staff on weekends useless and secure car park on phone don’t care DO NOT USE AS TOU HAVE TO WALK DOWN A RAMP THAT CARS DRIVE DOWN AND WITH A PRAM ITS TERRIBLE Car parking go casual is hopeless, how do you access Casual car parks that are blocked by other cars??? Use Myer Centre.
Whole carpark is empty , 90% of the parks are reserved , and every single one that isn't has a cone in the way stopping you from parking....
Waaaay too expensive and there is no sign on the lifts that don't work saying so. You'll have to drive all the way down to B3 just to find a spot if you're lucky and then, good luck finding the lifts that actually serve the lower basement levels. Ended up in a service lift that felt like it was about to break down. Not worth the $30+ per day parking!
Left my keys with on-site attendant. Returned and found a scratch mark passenger side mirror. Have started communications with SecureParking's claim team but I doubt anything will bear fruit after reading their T&Cs. They will probably say they're not liable for any damage to the car despite their employee not exercising due car. We will see the outcome. If possible, I would suggest you don't leave your keys with the attendant.
Could not book online as app and website both crashed and had issues. Carpark locks at 10pm and no access to ticket paid parking. Only online bookings which we were unable to complete due to their site could access 'after hours' Elevators to carpark were inside a locked building. $135 call out fee to unlock the gate for us to access our car. So had to pay to leave the car there over night and uber home. Overall, expensive, uninformative and an unpleasant experience. Secure-a-spot always has hidden terms and conditions that arent ever made clear and differ from spot to spot. Save yourself the money and trouble and go with Wilson.
Very frustrated with their service. Paid $16 for PM parking from 2.00PM to 10.00 PM as per their websitebooked online. When I went back at 7.00PM, They had locked away my car keys and eventually had to pay $125 to get my keys back plus $55 cab charge to go home by calling a cab. I was not informed to collect the keys before 6.00 PM and this looked like cheating to me. I will never ever use Secure Parking . Please beware of cheating. After parking, you will need to give your keys there and they did not tell me I had to be back before 5.45 to collect my keys. Very rude service and I had to pay $125.00 using my credit card to release the keys the next day. Very very frustrated. There is a sign somewhere which is not visible at all saying about key hand over. But no one will notice this once you enter the parking .
