Went in at 13:03 as the ticket says I get back to the pay station at 13:25. 1 hour was advertised as $9 the on screen said it was $12 and then from there was charged $12:25 for not even 30 minutes.
Edit from a post 4 years ago. Car park is located below David Jones and the majority of the high end fashion brand shops. The height of the carpark is 2.2 meters, I drive a Ford Ranger and there is plenty of room. I can drive in and out and not worry about hitting the sides on the way out as there is plenty of room. Larger vehicles like Land Cruisers, Patrols, etc fit easily as well. Areas are well lit and signed. The ticket machines are fast to produce a paper ticket on the way in and pay points are conveniently located near the elevators upon departure.
Convenient location but it always displays parking full at entry, so I had to book online while driving around the block just to be safe. The width of the entry and exit ways are very narrow and have many tight corners. Good luck if you don’t have 360 camera.
Very informative, accurate and easy to follow instructions which worked like a clock. Easy to use as a 1st timer using the service and car park. I am impressed
Good carpark, well kept and convenient. No issues, reasonably priced for the city. I like the weekend deal.
Badly designed parking. Took me more than 40 minutes to exit parking. The exit is one lane for all levels and has a traffic light to merge with traffic on the road, which adds to the wait time.
Decent enough prices for parking but getting out of the car park in the afternoon around 5pm is a nightmare sometimes. Cars and buses continually block their 1 and only exit so cars inside the carpark queue all the way down several levels of basement…
Good prices for early bird parking but be prepared to sit in the queue for the exit for up to 30 minutes if you leave around peak hour/5pm. The exit ramp is always backed up - sometimes down to the 2nd or 3rd floor.
Well lit, parking spaces a good size and pay station worked. Clean and safe with access straight to David Jones Department store. Just a little scary exiting with a steep rise to the road... so if you have a manual vehicle, you will be in for a few hill starts should there be a few cars in front.
The car spaces are nice and big, doesn't feel cramped like a lot of city parking spaces. Price is competitive with other car parks in the city. I wish I'd parked here sooner. We come in from the Northside and the entry to this car park and exit is most convenient. I used to live South so was more convenient to go other parks, but now I know how nifty the Queen's Plaza carpark is I will come back.
