I stayed here with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time. The rooms were clean and tidy and we enjoyed using the pool and hot tub each night which was cleaned every morning. The view from the balcony was great too, especially first thing in the morning with a coffee. We thought the location was great too as it was only a short drive from Surfers Paradise but far enough to be away from all the traffic and noise that comes with it.nnWould definitely stay here again!
Fantastic facilities.. the pool and spa were just perfect. The spa was a bit too hot for me actually. The room we had was a good size with a good view. Unfortunately, it was right next to the garbage shoot.. poor or older design. Whenever other guests used it, it sounded as though someone had entered our apartment or was trying to break in. Combined with the ever present odour every time we entered or left, it got annoying instantly, and wasn't any less annoying by the time we left. I only dealt with the one woman from reception when I needed supplies.. but once was enough to stop me from asking for anything further.. she wasn't particularly rude, but direct.. I can't put my finger exactly on what it was about her demeanour, but it made me uncomfortable enough to avoid her.. I don't think it was me, but who knows..??
Me and my daughter stayed at the Royal pacific for 4 nights. We enjoyed our stay there and it was easily accessible due to the fact we were going in and out to an event. The staff and service were very good as we had a problem with our internet - so they came right away and fixed it. We loved the roomy apartment with a balcony and also enjoyed the large pool and spa as well. There were little to no flaws, however some that stood out was that the garage and the buttons to get in were slightly annoying and positioned in a bit of a dangerous place, making it difficult to get in. Another flaw is that the location is not so good. We did not swim at all in the beach in front because there was a risk of bull sharks and no one else seemed to swimming at all. There are a couple shops and restaurants nearby but nothing too eye catching. For better food, we travelled over 20 mins. Some of the staff were kind although others could be a bit frightening and unwelcome. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the pros overweighed the cons.
Good things - The room is having oven, dish washer, washing machine, utensils and crockery. Good location with nice small pool and spa. Gated Free parking for one car per room.nBad things: The bed coverr Black color was too, too dusty and we had to put away from the bed. And the other small pillows on the couch were also dusty. No additional toiletries. You have to manage your own shower gel and shampoo. Very few power sockets for charging electronic devices. The floor is made with tiles. You will confuse whether to use your slippers in the room or not. 3 garbage bags kept for 6 nights.nOverall - the arrangement and set up of the room wil not make you comfortable.nThe staff at the reception would be difficult to make you happy.
What a great place to stay. We just spent five nights at the resort and this was our third holiday break at the Royal Very clean and if you require anything the staff are right on it. Hope we can get back up there some day soon.
