My wife scalded her hand very badly a week ago and after a week of self management and seeing the nurse at her work, we really wanted an expert opinion as the wound appeared infected. She was a new patient and got an appointment within an hour of calling. She had the privilege of seeing Dr. Monica Patel who treated her with empathy and kindness. As we expected, the wound was infected and the lovely on site nurse cleaned and dressed the wound, all while Dr. Patel watched on. She reassured my wife that the wound will heal with no scaring provided advice on going forward with self care. Such brilliant, personal service from a Doctor who clearly cares about her patients and isn't just there for the pay cheque unlike most other clinics in Rowville. I will be signing the rest of my family up for sure.
Rowville health has been my family doctor for years, but dealing with them recently has been quite frustrating. My job provider and workplace have requested a simple medical certificate, which has been extremely hard to obtain. I was running a little late to my my appointment, so i was switched to a different doctor. My appointments with my regular doctor are usually bulk billed, but the appointment i was switched to was to ending costing me $40 out of pocket. This change was not disclosed to me at any time. I'm trying to be polite as possible, but this is really really poor practice and is not ok. The certificate I received was honestly quite poor and was not suitable for what i need it for. I contacted rowville health to ask for this certificate to be reissued and provided the exact certificate number needed. I have called multiple times under supervision of my support worker to follow up clearly stating my deadline and have been assured that i will receive this certificate, and now the deadline has come with not any contact or follow up. I don't know what else to do or say but leave this review.
Horrible clinic. Misdiagnosis over and over for over 6 years. They hurry you during an appointment but are happy to make you wait over an hour to see someone. Stay clear
I have been going to Rowville Health for over 20 years now without any issues or complaints. I've always found all the staff to be very professional, friendly, thorough and caring. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, but its the same as anywhere else and way better than at the emergency dept at a hospital.
What a terrible experience. My niece needed an urgent insulin prescription. She was dangersly low. The un professional receptionist said there were no appointments available until 12.30, more than a 2 hour wait when in fact she should have knocked on any doctors door and explained the urgency. I'm sure the doctors would have assisted there and then. I am taking this further with AHPRA . This should never ever happen !
My girlfriend went in for a visit. She has been suffering from anxiety and insomnia for some time now. We went to multiple different doctors with no help. We tried all sorts of natural remedies and saw plenty of other natural practitioners to no avail. We decided to try here as her brother highly recommends this place. After about 10 minutes she comes out of the clinic from her appointment only for her to tell me what happened. The trained and certified medical professionals best opinion for her to deal with anxiety and insomnia is... meditation..... Her anxiety is now worse than before thanks to your "doctor" and she has it in her head that no doctor will help her now and that she is a lost cause. Thank you so much for the "help" and thank you for taking my money for such an "amazing" experience. If I could have, I would have left negative stars for this review.
Unfortunately at the top of the list for the worst clinic I’ve been to. I booked an in person consultation and all I received was a 4 minute phone call whilst in the clinic car park. I didn’t even go in and was charged the full consultation plus a gap fee. The doctor didn’t even try to accommodate what I had come in for, and didn’t even try to offer alternatives or other options, instead shut me down and made me feel small and worthless. I’m disappointed with their service and won’t be coming back. In such hard times we have to support each other and be kind.
I've been a patient of the clinic for over 7 years now and I've never had a bad experience. The Doctors are all lovely, particularly Dr. Yoffa who is my doctor. She's always been patient, sympathetic, knowledgeable and kind. The staff are always wonderful and the clinic also has other professions, including physiotherapists who are fantastic too, especially Louise. Thank you always for being kind and wonderful, it's a lifelong gift to have a practise that you know and trust.
A terrible experience. I’ve never seen a doctor perform in such an unprofessional way.
Sadly after the long car ride here, all I had received was the worst experience that I’ve ever had at a clinic. I came for a consultation with the doctor and only received a phone call from the car park that lasted under 5 minutes. Disappointed with their service. Simply just rude and condescending, will never be coming again!
