The location of the hotel is great, close to Abbot St and the Esplanade. The good restaurants are in vicinity. The rooms are spacious enough and they are clean when you check in. The reception staff could be friendlier but they are helpful whenever they can. The room service should improve. I used a cup and a plate on the first day. They were unclean on the table in the room until I checked out. The room service was only about changing the towels and making the bed.

Appalling customer service. Called the day before requesting early check-in was told should be fine. When we arrived at the hotel was served by an extremely rude older lady who was very unhelpful, was told no room yet available and she just moved on to next customer, I waited and asked if she could call me when room became available she agreed - we never received a call. On the two occasions I was at reception the same lady did not acknowledge our presence, not even a Hi. Room was ok but quite small. We were on the 2nd floor and room offered no privacy and view was of the wall hotel, we had to close curtains at all times. Small veranda was also not very private. Definitely would not recommend.

Never again should i stay at this motel, the receptionist was so rude, failed to acknowledge me, kept telling me my booking hadnt come thru all without looking at the computer! Never looked at me once, straight faced, however when English tourist came in she was chatting up to them, i grinned at her and she looked away, my money is the same colour as there's even thou our skins are different! Never ever stepping foot back into this motel...! The rude receptionist was Margaret. The helpful receptionist who took care of my paper work and actually acknowledged me was Olga.

Terrible. Claustrophobic small room. No restaurant on site and ‘room service’ advertised in their info pack is false advertising. Pay additional for parking....

Staff are the most unhelpful and obnoxious I’ve ever come across. The beds don’t have blankets on them just a folded up blanket in the cupboard that smells. The tv stations cut out for hours on end. You only get 250 mb of data and when you want to purchase more out of your own money you don’t even have to option to buy the amount that is suitable for watching a movie from your laptop. The large double bed is 2 singles pushed together which you keep falling between throughout the night. When I was paying for the room I didn’t realise I was paying for the rude service, and won’t ever be staying at this poor excuse of a motel again in my life. Shame on you! 3rd March 2018
