We recently dined at the Hilton in the bar area and it was a fantastic experience. The view was amazing, right on the waterfront and the food was great too. We ordered a lot of smaller style meals and they didn't disappoint. The Karaage Chicken was a favourite as were the pizzas.nnService was friendly and efficient; the staff checked in regularly without being intrusive. A couple staff made a lasting impression; Brylee was very helpful, bubbly and attentive to our party and Zak in the bar made excellent cocktails.nnOverall, the Hilton offers a wonderful dining experience, combining thoughtful service, great food and a welcoming atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
We had a memorable stay. Whilst the building could do with a refresh, the service in all areas of the property was exceptional. There wasn’t one bad experience and everyone was always willing to help. The breakfast was lovely. The location was perfect for us because we went on several tours from the marina was it was really easy walk. Thank you Hilton Cairns, you were exceptional.
This is a Hilton hotel located near the ocean.nnWhile the building itself is not new, considering the location and overall convenience, it is arguably the best choice when staying in Cairns.nnThere are pleasant seaside walking areas nearby, which are especially nice in the morning and evening.nnAlthough some parts of the rooms and common areas show their age, they are well maintained and kept clean, and I did not experience any inconvenience during my stay.nnFor those who value location, reliability, and the consistency of a well-known brand, this hotel is a solid option in Cairns.
Excellent hospitality by Hilton Cairns - The entire staff was friendly and courteous so shout out to the General Manager however I’d like to call out one employee in particular who managed to elevate our experience - Eli. We accidentally booked the accessible room and realized quickly the bathroom situation wasn’t going to work for us. The staff let us use another bathroom for the night but Eli helped switch us to another room the next morning keeping the fantastic view that we have booked. She also arranged for champagne and cookies chocolates etc to make our stay even more special. She also gave us recommendations for Trinity beach which was another highlight of the trip.nnRooms are definitely a bit dated but the hospitality and location make up for it. We didn’t book a car but could have. Our Down Under Barrier Reef excursion cruise check-in was just steps away from the hotel but Trinty beach was 30mins. Make sure to look for An area to swim that has a lifeguard with a safe area sectioned to swim in. Walk to the nearby cliff edge and enjoy spectacular views of the water body and mountains. Trinty had lovely oceansie apartments as well.nnBreakfast was a great value!
This was one of the best hotels I've ever gone to! The lady at the desk was so nice and let us check in early for free!. And somehow, we managed to get a corner room, with us being able to see the water and even watch the movies going on the big screen downstairs.nnTalking about a great view, it was genuinely amazing, all day and all night. It was especially amazing at sunrises and sunsets obviously.nnThe city is so walkable, you don't need to take an Uber everywhere and if you don't want to walk, there is literally like 50 e-scooters outside the hotel!nnI LOVE that there is a mini jungle right inside of the hotel, it makes it feel so lively! It also smells AMAZING after it rains. not like it does often XD
