Great location and great amenities! Breakfast was extraordinary and lucky I got it as part of the room. Plenty of options and the staff was super helpful.nnThe King Corner room was also great because it's spacious and had great sea and pool views. The bed was comfy and it really felt like a holiday.nnThe check-in experience took a while and there was really no proper queue for it, and someone else that came after me got served before me, but lucky I was in no rush. So it was all good. Just hope they could manage the service desk queue a bit better.nnOverall, great vibe around the place with great location and views. Will highly recommend the place!
It all comes down to excellent service.nCheck in: Peter was great, explained every detail, my daughter loved the kids amenities.nBreakfast: personalised service from Lily and Angela, remembering food and beverage preferences, engaging with everyone.nExecutive Lounge: Ingrid and the entire team made us feel welcomed.nThe location is simply perfect, rooms are spacious and the food menu has so much selection!nThank you Noni, Jonathan and Yoriko for looking after our family!
Hilton Cairns – Honest ReviewnnI really wanted to like this stay, but overall it didn’t live up to Hilton’s 5-star name.nnPositives:nnThe man at reception was friendly, and Ingrid in the Executive Lounge was outstanding – she really looked after everyone.nnThe breakfast juice station was a nice touch.nnI appreciated the upgrade to a spa room.nnNegatives:nnThis hotel desperately needs a revamp – the pool area felt sad and uninspiring, and the property overall is dated.nnAs a Diamond member, I usually receive a welcome amenity, but instead I was asked to wait while they handed me a tired old box of chocolates. Not exactly a warm welcome.nnI emailed twice before arrival and never got a response.nnBreakfast finishing at 9:30am even on Sundays! kills any kind of holiday vibe.nnCouldn’t connect my phone to the TV.nnFor the price point, the service and rooms just don’t match expectations.nnIn short, it’s not terrible, but it’s far from a true 5-star Hilton experience. Unless they invest in a much-needed refresh, I wouldn’t stay here again.
We stayed at the Hilton Cairns for 7 days. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, even though we didn’t spend much time in the room with so much to do. Rooms were quiet and the ocean view room was breathtaking views morning and night.nThe pool area was lovely but a little disappointed that the pool bar isn’t open during the week . You can still order drinks ect to be delivered to the pool from restaurant but they did take a while to receive.nThe breakfast buffet was lovely , we only ate once there in the 7 days .nWe didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant as the options in the pier were too tempting .nOur stay included a complementary bottle of wine . Cleaners did a fantastic job. Hotel reception was accommodating and very quick .nWe hired a car and they were happy to give us parking last minute
Had a wonderful experience at this hotel the Hilton Cairns! From the check in to the guest experience and the departure, I couldn't fault a thing. The beds, showers, views are unbeatable. The staff care, the management care and it really shows.nnThank you for an amazing stay! We hope to be back sometime in the future!
