It is located well by the riverside which makes a fantastic lockout from every side. The lobby is designed so beautifully which creates a great attraction. Staffs are very helpful and friendly which makes the stay even more easy and pleasant. Rooms are equipped with all of necessary things and are clean with comfortable beds. Room service is fantastic. Breakfast was delicious with ample options to choose from. The gym and swimming pool are beautiful and clean. I would love to go back and stay there. Highly recommended. Thanks to Hilton Cairns management team for their incredible service.
We had a great stay here! The staff were very friendly and helped us with any requests we had! Great facilities, drink service by the pool and a great gin bar in the lobby. Great location, extremely close to the waterfront and restaurants! Rooms were clean and tidy, hotel was also very quiet despite it being Easter. Will definitely recommend this to family and friends visiting Cairns!
We travel to Cairns 3 times a year, have experimented with other hotels...the Hilton is absolutely best value for money, just a really nice and comfortable place to stay, I feel like I'm home when I walk into the lobby, rooms are well appointed, staff are great, views are fantastic and the pool is easily accessible. If I had any criticism, it would be the restaurant, nice but not anything to rave about. Out of the 4 hotels luxuary Cairns hotels we have stayed at. This is the best, hands down.
Our two-night stay at the Hilton Cairns surpassed all expectations. While the hotel's exterior may not boast ostentatious grandeur, its understated elegance and impeccable service truly exemplified the essence of a five-star experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the pristine cleanliness, offering a refreshing sense of comfort. Our room provided breathtaking views, a perfect complement to the tranquil ambiance of the hotel's beautiful waterfront gardens. The breakfast spread was not only delicious but also offered a variety that catered to every palate. However, it was the staff's unwavering dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction that truly stood out. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The Hilton Cairns encapsulates the epitome of luxury hospitality, leaving us with memories of a truly unforgettable experience. We simply could not have asked for more.
Except for the brand name there is nothing much to talk about here. Dated rooms, uncomfortable pillows, from a breakfast chef who can't follow simple instructions to front office staff who also can't follow simple instructions. I stayed here for four nights and below is an overview of my experience.nn1. When we arrived there was no concierge to take our bags.nn2. Strangely there was no privacy lock on the bathroom door.nn3. My wife ordered an omelette for breakfast with veggies as we are vegetarians however the chef added ham in it. See the pictures of the kitchen order ticket and the picture of the omelette she received.nn4. The booking was made for 2 adults and 1 kid however for some reason the house keeping decided to replace three soiled towels with only two towels on day 3.nn5. Before leaving the hotel I informed the front office staff that the shower gel in our bathroom had run out however it wasn't replenished. I had to call guest services on my return in the evening to have this replenished.nn6. Most 5 Star properties I have stayed at have always provided dental kits, shaving kits and ear buds. None of these were provided despite paying $250+ per night.nnOverall I feel my stay was a total let down. I want the general manager of this hotel to give me a call so that I can discuss this review further. I will update this review if and when I do receive a phone call.
