From start to finish, the service at this hotel was truly excellent. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made our stay feel special. The restaurant was great. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety that were clearly made with quality ingredients. The entire hotel was spotless and well-organized. A calm and welcoming atmosphere. The view from our room was simply beautiful. A perfect relaxing getaway. This was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. Highly recommended!
Great location, very poor tired 5 star hotel which i would rate as 'average'. The rooms are comfortable but ensure that the 'sea view' is not as ours was over the awning and in the distance.nI usually give a 5 or 1 star when i post - but this was most def average. I would not return - the boutique hotels in the area for the same price represent better value in my opinion
The view from the room was great, and we had a lovely large balcony to watch all the marina activities from.nnVery well located, quiet and a lovely pool area. Lots of good restaurants and cafes in the area and a great place to base yourself out of.nnStaff were great overall. The check in staff was courteous but did not provide any useful information, with the result that we didn't know the lounge dining option was open to us.nnThe foyer was beautiful. The room, while large was not the level of luxury we expected from Shangri-La. It looked like everything was ripe for some maintenance, especially the pool area which had an open drain, loose floor tiles, etc.
I had a conference at a neighbouring hotel, but their pool was undergoing maintenance so we decided to stay at the Shangri-La. The location so close to the marina was unbeatable, and a short walk through the park bought us to many restaurant options.nnThe staff were attentive, and our room showed minimal wear and tear. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet that was included with our chosen room rate and were pleased with the options.nnThe pool was fantastic, with lots of recliners. Taking advantage of the poolside bar was a bonus and I recommend the garlic bread as a snack. :
Fantastic hotel, great location. All staff were friendly & welcoming. Rooms were spacious & clean. Daily cleaning & change of towels was fabulous. Breakfast buffet was so good & great value. Marina veiw was beautiful. We loved our stay & will be back.
