Our first room allocated to us was very old, needed a good clean and needs to be updated. There were ants all over the wall, cupboards and in the bed. We informed reception, who moved us to an excellent room. We enjoyed our stay. Pool area was lovely. Staff friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Novotel Cairns! The hotel is centrally located walking distance to great restaurants and the esplanade.nThe hotel pool was amazing, loved the swim up bar. Special mention to Deb the kids program manager, she was wonderful and the kids adored all the wonderful activities she arranged.nnOnly 2 negatives.n1. The housekeeping was average, maybe because it was the last room to be cleaned each day but was not cleaned well and surfaces not wiped.n2. The weekend by the pool was busy with all the day pass local guests. We could not get a chair by the pool when outside pass guests were there over the weekend.nnApart from that, excellent stay and highly likely we will return!
All aspects of our stay were excellent.nnGreat hotel if you’re travelling with children.nnThe pool area is excellent and well maintained. Buffet breakfast each morning was very good with a great range of options.nnStaff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
The hotel has a great outdoor area. The pool has a kids beach on one end and there is also a great grass area for the kids to play. Plenty of seating around the pool with shaded areas.nThe staff are so friendly and helpful.
Loved the location to walk everywhere. Nice modern rooms, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, a lot of choice. Loved the free barista coffees at couple of mornings. Staff very friendly.
