Excellent service from staff here, they were top notch the entire stay.
Dinner was a little underwhelming but still edible.
Laundry facilities on site were really handy, great to go home with a bag filled with clean clothes.
Overall I'd recommend this hotel as a fantastic location, with comfortable rooms that are a little outdated. 
Value for money factor: excellent. Cairns has become a very expensive place to stay so this was a bargain when all things are considered.

This is a lower end hotel, so be prepared. The rooms are below average and there are very few amenities available. The hot breakfast is passable at best. Go in expecting that this is more akin to a flop house and you will be fine, but don’t expect this to be a normal level of hotel luxury.

When I checked-in I was told a security deposit of $50 on credit card is required and it will be refunded back after a few days. Now it has been a week and I haven't received the money. So I called them and the staff said it will take up to 14 days and she told me to contact my bank. I feel it's ridiculous to say so because the hotel is causing inconvenience and now they are trying to get rid of the responsibilities.

Conveniently placed hotel. Easy walk to Cairns Central, RSL Club, The Esplanade, restaurants. Not too far from Cairns hospital

Ok for a budget hotel. Rooms are small. Breakfast is not so great.
