Stayed here for 2 nights whilst touring around Cairns, this is a great hotel, air conditioned rooms, and waiting area. 
Very friendly check in staff and the maid. The room was clean with a large enough bathroom, towels and facilities supplied.
I think it was quite cheap accommodation considering the area it's set in, straight opposite the aquarium too but we didnt visit.
The pool is a great little area, not busy when we stayed so spent a few hours out there before we got a transfer.

Was advertised as a 4 star accomodation, $189/night for 2... its a bit more like a 2-star accomodation... hence this review.

General odour of mildew as you walk in taps rusted and leaky. Whilst you can see there is an effort to clean, the place is poorly maintained and frankly is only good for its air conditioning. Even then, the a/c is very loud. The only thing working for them is its close proximity to beaches, but so much more can be done.

Jacuzzi tub was a nice surprise at first, but it was broken. Told we had a king size bed, which turned out to be a double. TV remote was only half functional. Rubbish in bathroom wasn't empty. Good air conditioning, and close to city. Free internet and pornhub wasn't blocked, so that's nice.

Highly recommended accommodation in Cairns, centrally located, walking distance to everything. Rooms beautifully tidy and room service was bang on. Buffet breakfast is a bit repetitive for options but all in all a lovely place

Stayed here for a night before our live aboard dive trip. The hotel was clean and in close proximity to the esplanade. The included breakfast was just ok, but better than expected. I would stay here again for the price.
