I absolutely loved this place. The best backpackers I've been to by far. It's not a party place, it's chilled, but it does allow drinking to a reasonable hour in the evening if you want. The staff are truly lovely, and the place has a Balinese villa feel, with an open air dining area, serene fountains, outdoor showers and yoga classes run by a very nice person. The owners have clearlynthought about the small things that make a stay special, down to the guitars left around for people to strum, and the jars of chili and hundreds and thousands in the kitchen free to use. I'll definitely be back, thank you all for the nice time.
I had an amazing time during my stay at Travellers Oasis. It's such a nice hostel with a really relaxing vibe! The staff were also very helpful and friendly.nThe rooms and bathrooms were all very clean and comfortable. Also there is so much space to cook in the multiple kitchens. And the highlight are the two outdoor showers. They are really amazing!nI really enjoyed my stay there! I meet some really nice people there, so if you are traveling alone it's a very good place to meet new people. If I ever come back to Cairns I will definitely stay here again!
Best hostel so far I have ever been! The place is really really clean, you can use things without being dirty, greasy or sticky!nnFew kitchens and bathrooms with showers makes the stay very comfortable. The fridges are really clean too.nnMaybe a few mattresses need renovation but still this place is fabulous! People is so welcoming and nice.nnLocation is quite convenient too, groceries are near and very safe area too.
This hostel is absolutely amazing! Best hostel in Australia I could live here forever! We had a private room but knew a friend staying in a three bed and they were just as happy as us. Facilities are amazing and super clean. Bathrooms are amazing with hot showers which has been lovely since travelling up the east coast and other hostels not really having the same. The outdoor shower is something I never knew I needed to experience, there is just nothing to fault this place on. Beds are super comfy and the decor around the place is dreamy. Great communal areas, close to everything you need to be close to and super friendly staff. When I’m back in Australia I will 100% be staying again. Felt instant relaxation
The Travellers Oasis is simply great! The rooms are super clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and always well maintained. The kitchen in particular is superbly equipped, ideal for anyone who likes to cook for themselves. The atmosphere in the hostel is totally relaxed and cosy - perfect for switching off. You meet lots of nice people here who create a cool atmosphere. A particular highlight is Josh from the hostel team: super friendly, helpful and always up for a nice chat. I can highly recommend this hostel!
