I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for a one night stay. Walking into the room I was instantly shocked by how HUGE this apartment was.nLounge area was modern and a great sized couch which was very comfortable. Kitchen was very dated but everything you would need for a long stay.nBath/shower combination, was very slippery and a bit challenging to get in and out of, even for someone young.nThe beds were extremely comfortable and very soft, which allowed for a perfect night sleep.nFor the price we paid…. We will definitely be back.
Today, we booked this hotel for our family over the phone. We were charged $306 for one night, which we were happy to pay. During the booking, we specifically asked about private car PARKING, and we were told parking was available for $35 per day. I agreed without any issue.nnHowever, when we arrived at the hotel after a long drive with tired kids, a staff member named Jerry who said he was the owner told us the parking fee was actually $40. When we explained that we had already been quoted $35 over the phone, his response was disappointing. He said he did not care about what was told ONLINE or over the phone because he was the “owner.”nnHonestly, the extra $5 was never the issue. If I can pay $306 for a room plus $35 for parking, I could easily pay another $5. The real problem was the attitude and lack of respect for customer trust.nnIn today’s digital world, guests have many better accommodation options available. Good customer service and honesty matter a lot. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to my friends, family, or business associates.
Booked a spa suite and the spa had a big crack in the base so couldn’t use it. The hand soap dispenser was empty. Also booked a later checkout which was fine but the tv in the room wouldn’t work after 10am which is the standard checkout time.
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel.nOn arrival, the assigned car park didnt suit our needs and they couldn't have been more accommodating with getting us into a more suitable park. Fabulous service.nRooms have everything you need.nWe were over charged with parking due to their new system- only reason I mention it, is because as soon as we alerted them to the issue, it was rectified- staff were fabulous
We arrived well before the official check-in time, but the lady at reception was fantastic. She completed the paperwork efficiently and arranged storage for our luggage so we could explore the area. When the room became available earlier than expected, she kindly called to let us know — excellent service.nThe room itself was well insulated from outside noise, and the air conditioning covered the entire apartment, which was very much appreciated on a hot day.nUnfortunately, there were several areas that fell short. Shortly after checking in, I noticed there was not enough toilet paper in the bathroom or stored in any of the cupboards. I had to go back to reception, where a male staff member told me to “look under in the cupboards.” I had already checked thoroughly and confirmed there was none I'm not an idiot .This lead to realising there was also no hand wash so we had to get the bottle off the wall and add water to get some suds.nLater that evening, when it was time to shower, we found there was also no shampoo or body wash in the bathroom the only thing we had was conditioner in the bottles. This left us with the option of returning to reception again at 9pm or waiting for someone to come to the room, which felt intrusive. For a room costing $300 per night, these are basic amenities that should already be provided.nAdditionally, there was a large piece of broken glass on the floor in the children’s bedroom, raising serious safety concerns. Combined with the lack of basic supplies, this suggests shortcomings in the room inspection and cleaning procedures.nOverall, while the front desk service was excellent, the property needs to review its housekeeping and quality control processes to meet the standard expected of a hotel chain such as Mantra.nDisappointingnRoom 607n09/01/26
