This is the best garden I have ever seen in my life. You can easily feel the dedication of the owner in this garden. With various flowers, sculptures, and even a tree that you can walk up to, you are wandering in your childhood dreams.nnOne advice: I feel like this place will attract more people if we could sit and enjoy some coffee / drinks here inside the guest room, than a lodge which is also amazing! full of the handmade nature furniture.nEspecially considering the location sits in the midway of Paradise and Queenstown, it is a great location to take a break and enjoy the scenery.nnOverall, highly, highly recommended.
This one-man creation spanning three decades is truly remarkable - a testament to human ingenuity and dedication. The fact that he built everything single-handedly makes it even more extraordinary. This hidden treasure showcases what incredible feats individual creativity and perseverance can achieve.
Brilliant. So much imagination in the sculptures. Just beautifully. The peacocks gave a fabulous display of their feathers fanned out.
Just an absolutely wonderful place. Made a last minute booking for 1 night and was blown away. This is a unique place on this planet. Not only are the gardens a work of art but so is everything in the house. If you are lucky, you will get a tour from the owner/artist who is incredibly talented, a good person, and dedicated to sustainability. I am so thankful I found this place.
We stumbled across this GEM of a place on the way back from Glenorchy and oh my god it was impressive.nThis garden is a masterpiece and a labour of love. The attention to detail and thought put in is truly remarkable and I was lost for words as I made my way through the property.nIt's a must do and see if you visit Queenstown as you will not be disappointed. From gardens, to sculptures, to ducks, chickens, peacocks, ponds, trout, a magical tree staircase and the best toilet I have ever seen, you can't help but smile and feel at one with the nature.nSensational
