Amazing views, beds geared for total comfort and relaxation, a soothing spa, and a delicious breakfast the next morning will have you completely ready for enjoying all the area has to offer. All the comforts of a superb home featuring 5 star bathrooms with under-floor heating, views from every room and flat screen TVs and DVD players in each bedroom. Full Sky available in the lounge including Sky Movies and Sky Sports.

Guests enjoy the comforts of the Lake house to themselves, with staff slipping in of a morning to clean and tidy, and provide a fresh baking for afternoon tea. If you need assistance there will be staff nearby to see you personally during the day and only a phone call away in the evening.

This place was just beautiful, the lady next door at cafe was lovely. We organized massages to be had here, then strolled over the lake and sat on the bench with wine and food, then enjoyed the spa. Was just a beautiful time away here. We were here in winter and the house was so warm. Thankyou for having us x
The Lakehouse is fabulous, right by the lake and the Glenorchy Lagoon Walk. The house was spotless, very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was so generous. There were 6 of us and there plenty of room. Big jars of delicious homemade jams, honey croissants, fresh fruit, museli, beautiful grainy bread that looked home made. Eggs that also looked home laid and delicious good quality bacon. You also get a free coffee from The Trading Post right next door. Highly recommend this gorgeous place.
Beautiful lake house with all necessary amenities. The owner would stock up the fridge so that you could make your own breakfast. The outdoor jacuzzi was covered and powered off, not entirely sure if guests are allowed to use it.
This place is nice but had a terrible experience with the owner. Very expensive compared with other places and then they charged us more without our approval. There was a misunderstanding and in stead of making adjustments as most good businesses would to accomodate the client the owner was rude and un compromising. We would of moved to another place but she said we would be charged. There are other places to stay in Glenorchy that are much more accommodating.nWe were told by many of their employees how terrible the owner treat them. They also own the Kinloch Lodge That is a big red flag. Wish I would have known that before spending big money on this place. Their employees were outstanding. We have been traveling for a month now. This is the first bad review I have written for any place.
Really enjoyed our stay at the Glenorchy Lakehouse after walking the Routeburn Track. So delightfully close to the Glenorchy Lagoon Walkway! Highly recommend.
