Mrs Woolly's General Store in Glenorchy is renowned for serving delicious Fairlie Bakehouse pies, which are also available at the original bakery in Fairlie. These pies are highly regarded for their flaky pastry and flavorful fillings. Personally, I prefer Fairlie Bakehouse's pies in terms of taste. The best way to decide which pie you prefer is to try them both and form your own opinion!
A must do cafe if you’re travelling to Glenorchy. We visited two days in a row while in the area and had really tasty lunches. They have quite a good variety of bakery items including wraps, pies, bagels, and sweets. The hot drinks were nice too. Also a nice spot to eat outside with a view of the mountains nearby.
SO CUTE!!! Loved this cute little store, cafe and gift shop! I love supporting small businesses! The food here was delicious and everything was homemade, made daily and fresh! Highly recommend stopping by if visiting Glenorchy!
This place is incredible! It has the best pies I've ever had in my life. If you're near Glenorchy then absolutely stop and grab one. The cakes are also fantastic, it's a must try!
Good light snacks place with nice pies & bagel. They have a good seating area and adequate parking. The souvenirs are a little overpriced.nnTried the venison pie which was really good
