We ordered the pan fried dumplings and the BBQ pork rice. Unfortunately, their noodle soups were sold out when we arrived mid afternoon. Their dumplings were cooked right. Slightly crisp on the outside but juicy inside. The BBQ pork was also ok. Good place to satisfy your Asian food craving in Glenorchy.
Absolutely loved Queenie’s Dumplings! First time visiting a dumpling restaurant in NZ, and it was fantastic. Their braised beef noddle soup with that chili oil is absolutely next level! If you’re at Glenorchy lakefront, this spot is a must-try. Highly recommend pork and prawn dumplings as well! So yum .
Pan fried pork and prawn dumplings are really good! Big, juicy and fried well.nnBbq pork rice, bbq pork noodle soup and braised beef noodle soup were not bad too. Some pieces of the bbq pork were a little harder, but it’s still alright.nnAmazing find in the small town of Glenorchy.
Ordered 9 boiled dumplings - a mix of different flavours. Skin is slightly on the thicker side, but the dumplings are juicy and yummy! Ordered the beef noodles as well. Generous serving of beef and the soup has a slightly herby taste, which I find really tasty :
