No idea why the woman at the door insists on seeing your receipt when you’ve just paid for everything right in front of her. I get that it’s ‘your policy’, but seriously she saw that I was spilling my coffee trying to get the receipt out and she was on like autopilot and didn’t care. I was standing less than a few metres away from her paying so it was unnecessary for her to force this situation. What harm is it going to have to your business if you don’t keep this policy? We don’t do it at the supermarket.
Unacceptable customer service.nnThere are some nasty sale people in this store.nnWhile browsing gent pants , the rack was pulled by the sales person without notifying. The rack wheel hit my leg and hurt me.nnLater, same sales person asked me not pick clothe from another rack without any reason.nnI complained to store supervisor and only response was that my complaint will used for improvement of customer service.nnSupervisor didn’t sound he is serious of the bad customer service of his staff
Would give zero stars if I could. Customer service was horrible especially the old lady at the customer service counter upstairs and the security guard lady at the exit. We asked the security guard lady for directions to the customer service counter, to which she replied “ why?” rudely. First of all, there was no reason to ask why, we just needed to find a staff member to assist us with finding something. I cant think of any reason where you would need to ask a customer for their reason for wanting directions in a shop. After we walked away from her, we heard her mutter under her breath saying “I’m not your slave”, which is very very appalling for someone who’s supposed to be working and helping customers out even with basic directions. All we did was ask for directions and we never did anything to warrant a rude reply. However, we received even worse customer service when we went upstairs to the service counter. It was an old lady who was manning the counter alone and how ironic was it for her to give to worst possible customer service while stationed there. While we were queuing behind a customer who she was serving at that moment, she told us to “move back” we were already a few steps behind from the person in-front of us. After we moved significantly behind, not only did she yell at us for not “ clearing out the space at the counter” my friend was decently tall and she said that he was too close and was peering over the counter, which he was not, she also slammed a “counter closed” sign right after the customer in-front of us left. We were extremely shocked and disappointed with the service provided and it has been consistent with every time we go to Kmart. Despite the multiple low reviews on your site emphasising on the poor service provided, there seems to be no improvement made. -100/10 service
Very poor customer service this afternoon due to lack of knowledge and consideration from staff.nI bought a roll of film that was partly opened and insisted to have it measured before buying as it looked half the size of what it should be.nThe staff insisted that it's the opened wrapping that has unravelled the roll and categorically declined to measure it. I got a $2 discount.nGot home, measured the roll and it's 92cms short. Even with the discount, I paid more than it was priced. This time, the customer is right! Well done Kmart!
