Story

Joondalup School of Music is one of Perth's most popular and respected music schools.

Established in 1995, it has grown in reputation and size becoming WA's largest music school with over 30 professional teachers.

Our friendly and helpful staff are eager to support you on your music journey, whether that journey finds you taking a piano lesson, completing your AMEB examinations, joining a rock band or learning a few chords to play around the campfire.

The aim of our school is to create a fun and meaningful learning environment, and we take pride in catering to all ages, levels and musical tastes.

Great music school with professional teachers. My daughter really enjoy classes. Place has a special atmosphere . You can go through the classic  songs for learning and also can learn how to play  modern songs which making  process so much interesting. Great fun!

The staff and teachers have made my son feel very welcome, have adapted to his needs and music interests. He’s learning the latest rock songs on his electric guitar which keeps his interest levels high. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Staff really helpful and friendly. I've rekindled my love for music and have taken up singing lessons and guitar lessons. All the tools you need to start are available in store. I can spend more time here than I can spend in Bunnings. If you speak to family I can spend hours in there

My 10 year old and 12 year old both love attending music here. The welcoming atmosphere in the shop and great teachers who make learning music fun. Can't recommend more highly.

Bought my first guitar here in 2001 and now my son is taking drum lessons here in 2024. Awesome shop and great crew working here. Great music teachers also!

My son has been learning piano at JSM for a few years and he loves it. The teachers are fanastic. Also, as a musician myself, the staff in the shop are so welcoming and always up for a chat to help with any questions about gear. Most stores I just want to go in, get what I need and leave but the vibe here just makes you want to stay. Can’t recommend it enough.

I am receiving violin lessons and I am enjoying it. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. My tutor is encouraging and giving me lots of tips to improve my skills. I recommend this music company.
