The young guy at the counter doesn't know anything about troubleshooting, told me i had to take it into an official Apple shop for replacement and when i asked if they could replace it for me he said it would take too long and there's no point another store can do it quicker and wouldn't help me further But i took it home and eventually fixed it after few more days of diagnosis no need for replacement He was also sick which is weird to let him work behind the counter being customer facing, he kept sniffling and when he handed my device back i had to wipe it at home because he was handling it I'm not even an apple person and im smarter than these clowns
I've used Macworx for quite a few years and they've always been helpful. I hadn't needed any repairs for some time and my last trip there was very different. The guy I saw was dismissive and seemed to be willing me out the door. Out that door I went, never to return. As the old saying goes, it takes a long time to build up a good reputation and not very long to lose it.
Good customer service but unfortunately there's a fine line between a 5 star and a 2 star review - customer services wont bring my memories and years of data back. The guy at the shop told me to leave my phone whilst it backs up and then he will reset it. I have lost all of my photos and videos of my first born baby - not to mention all my other data. Absolutely devastated. Lesson learnt.
The team at Macworx are knowledgable, professional and provide excellent customer service. My Macbook Pro is a core item of my work as a DJ, recently I had some big ticket repairs on my MBP and the team turned the job around very quickly and when an intermittent fault presented itself, team went above and beyond to diagnose the problem providing me with the most cost effective solution to get me going again. Many thanks! 5 Star service and I'd definitely recommend!
Im a professional MAC user and Yesterday I managed to stuff up and reset of one of my IMAC Pro desktop machines.. Nothing to difficult for the team and Mike is a great guy - used them for years .. and would go no where else.. - Im not in to Steve Jobs designed retail apple spaces.. Give me macWorx any day. Friendly helpful staff who were able to fix the issue with my apple device. It stopped working on Christmas Day. Thanks heaps Apple!! Merry Christmas to you too.. A follow up to the visit above. It seems the fix to my apple device was only temporary.
No one is ever happy with their mechanic... except me it seems. I recommend Macworx to everyone. If you want bright, shiny and showy, go to the Apple Store, if you want honest straight up repairs, services that Apple won’t do or an actual person to speak to rather than a robot, you won’t beat these guys. They offer outside the box fixes you simply don’t find when it comes to Apple gear. Cheers guys.
