Good services. Chris was accommodating our request and need. Return procedure is slightly long due to the building's car park design but it's not their fault. They provided us with a clear direction how to return our car.
This location normally does not accept drop off after hours, but I could still park the car after hours even the car is still at my responsibility until the keys are returned to the staff (which is fair). This has saved us overnight parking cost. We had no drama renting from this branch.

The car was okay. It was not completely clean from its previous use, but worked fine and was otherwise in good condition.

The late night drop off required a page of instructions to navigate the labyrinth of underground parking to locate the Avis parking spots. The route is only partially signed and allows no room for mistakes using the less than stellar treasure map.

The booking charges were misleading as the item breakdown under the total actually added up to more than totally. One can only guess as to why; perhaps a discount that was not itemized!? The car rental amount did not clearly state the rental amount in a 24 hour period which would have made it clear booking for a late night return could actually save a days charge-- if the booking system actually let me book with a late return and not just in the very restrictive hours the location was open. The attendant at the counter also did not suggest the earlier return is actually a cheaper booking and adjust it for me. If they had, Avis might have sold me on all my future bookings.

Overall Avis was no standout. They provided a good reliable car which is the least they could do to make me consider them the next time.

I would happily recommend this place based on its service. 5 stars. Thankyou Chris for always being able to accommodate to our needs even on short notice. There is sometimes a delay in collecting the vehicle but based in the city you can't always expect your car to be ready and waiting like the airports. Will be back again!

The Guy that help me get the car is very Nice, I thinks his name is Kon, very professional and helpful.
But the male receptionist for the returning process is very disappointing, no explaination, just try to charge you on all aspects he could, over time, petrol and not responding to your question.
overall it's ok as the central location, please be careful with the petrol refill as they charge 4.5$/ liter.

We travel to Sydney regularly and enjoy staying in the city so this car hire location is perfect!!!!! Considering its smack bang in the middle of the city the longest we waited was a mere 14 minutes.... to do anything with a vehicle in Sydney is difficult so I take my hat off to Chris and his staff for masterminding this service in the heart of bustling Sydney and with friendly service to boot. As regular return customers Chris and the guys know me and what my family require and booking now is a breeze.  See you next time guys :)
