Rented a van from here for a day, despite the confusion of the charges of the rental I would rent from here again, but it would be nice if charges were explained in detail especially to those who watch their financial spend on a daily basis.  Overall customer service was excellent despite my going in all guns blazing and coming back out with a red face and tail between the legs, I apologized to them for my jumping to conclusion but I was also right and got my refund too. So it was a win on both sides.

A great place and the lady at reception is fantastic and works very hard.

I tried to hire a car after booking online with two of my friends and received terrible service during the whole visit to pick up the car. the staff were extremely unhelpful and unfriendly, and when i questioned the rules of their policies they snapped and gave no explanation because the policy did not make sense. they made no effort to compromise or understand our position. will not be returning to this car hire service.

So I recently hired a car from Avis. Dropped it off before the due date. Asked the guy there if he could run me where my ute is being repaired which is about 5 km away, he said NO. But with an attitude.  Hope you don't need a lift one day mate.

Very efficient. Car was ready for pickup on arrival. I used Avis at Boondall and recommend them.

Poor back up service and follow up. Rented a vehicle 39495806AU0 and the amount charged to my account was 30% higher than the quoted price even though I filled up, no damage etc. Have emailed Avis three times requesting why - and also requesting the invoice/receipt for my tax records. Receive email read receipts each time, and the odd automated email response that someone will get back to me within 24 hrs - but after nearly 4 weeks - still no answer from Avis and still no tax receipt. Terrible customer service - so can only give 1 star.

I received terrible service from the Boondall office when hiring a vehicle whilst on holiday in July this year.  Unhelpful and unfriendly staff.  Everything was too much trouble.  The website was down for maintenance which is why I couldn't book online.  Incorrect vehicle was supplied when I went to pick it up.  Will never use AVIS again.

Trying to rent a truck after Xmas to move house.  Website is APPALLING!!  Had to close window and start again just to change the: * date * pick up location * type of vehicle  I doubt it is "user error" as I was able to *SUCCESSFULLY* do this with the comparison companies.  Ended up giving up and comparison shopped with Thrifty, Budget, Hertz and Europcar.  At least their website worked where you can update your search criteria and get updated results.  Sorry Avis but you lost and any further rentals from me.

Easy pickup and return of my rental. Had to extend the rental a couple of times due to my own car not yet being finished at a nearby workshop, and it was always no problem.
