I would like to personally thank Michael for being so supportive with an issue that happened, not only did he help he also went truly above and beyond most companies would have for their customers. I was given best service ever. Really thankful to the staff. They went out of their way to help me to get a mattress for me eventhough I ordered a one which didn't fit my room.

Sales person was very slow and entered the wrong order in - lucky I asked to see the invoice which they only email to you. Before this, I asked if I could order to deliver any purchases, but they said you could order it in store or by Bpay, where the transaction would take 2-3 business days to clear. Disappointing service, but you prices are good.

Fast service from helpful staff. Placed order at the counter and someone was waiting at the warehouse door to collect it for me and bring it to my car.

Ordered coffee table over phone after seeing in store. Wrong item arrived, terrible customer service. Made getting refund really difficult, had to contact Consumer Affairs & argue hard to get delivery refunded. Would never buy from here again. Table arrived in reasonable time, but was completely different colour to one in store (dark stain instead of clear). Store ordered another from warehouse. Amart wouldn’t collect 1st table so sat with this in my lounge for over a week. Spoke to store warehouse staff when replacement arrived and asked him to check that it was same as one in store with light stain, not dark - was told that it was light stain, exactly same as in store. Table arrived, asked store delivery guys (not courier) if I could check it before it went upstairs. They refused, saying that they had to put it in the place of the other one before box could be opened. Opened box when upstairs, table was same colour as one being taken. Asked delivery guys to take it back but they refused, saying I had to contact store. My wife contacted store who said they had one out for film shoot & would try to get this back for us. My wife left multiple messages for manager, but calls not returned. I called, got answer straight away - my wife is obviously just a silly woman. Return finally organised and table taken within a few days. Wasn’t great having unusable furniture hanging around for three weeks. Delivery guy said to contact store for refund next day. Called a few days later. I couldn’t get a refund to my credit card (as card cancelled due to fraud). Store refused to do bank transfer (computer says ‘no’), asked them to do it through internet banking - no again. Said I could collect cash from store, but only if they had enough in the till! Checked amount refunded against amount paid, refunded amount did not include delivery fee. Contacted Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) who advised that delivery must be refunded. Relayed CAV advice to store who continued to refuse to refund delivery. After explaining that I'd go to VCAT Amart contacted CAV and refunded delivery fee (but they made a point of telling me that it was the manager's decision, not because CAV told them to...). My sense from dealing with them was that they knew full well that they didn’t have the table we ordered and that they just tried to stall in the hopes of us giving up and keeping the one we didn’t want. The refusal to refund the delivery fee was just petty. Ended up ordering from Temple & Webster - very different experience, see my other review.
