Travelodge Wellington

It seems only reason for the hotel? is its location but nothing else. The room was bit spacious but TV set is out of order which meant to be allowing me to watch public channels as well as Sky TV. Bathroom is fairly clean but hard say it is for a hotel but more likely to motel or inn. No instruction in the room how to call reception or instruction for emergency but only item I found is a menu for room service and dial 0 goes to the restaurant not to reception. Staffs in the reception have no idea how to do their work without asking their manager so it was so frustrating during checkout. Full breakfast is charged $30 but I recommend to go out and look for a cafe nearby having better meal with lower price.

Very comfortable bed, somewhat musty smelling rooms. Very clean bathroom. Useful amenities and a good amount of electrical power points to use around my room. The daily housekeeping service was very good and my room was always neat and clean upon return. Food & drinks: Food was ok. Probably could get it better elsewhere. I had fish and chips and both were a bit overcooked but I was too tired from my flight and workday to care too much.

Not too bad at all. Available at short notice and room was ready that afternoon, while another dodgy accommodation cancelled on us on the day. The rooms have everything we needed. A clean, comfortable bed and room, with suitable heating and cooling. Bathrooms clean and tidy. Ample space for all 3 of us. The decor and reno is a bit dated and aged, but nothing major. The best part was the location. The hotel is built on a steep hill, with the lower level is one flight of stairs away from the golden mile, and the waterfront and train station a couple more minutes away. The airport bus is very close by too. However, it may be a bit of an issue for people and things on wheels though, they'd have to use the back entrance and carpark. Check-in and check-out was easy. Secure luggage storage was easy and convenient too.

Travelled for work, stayed on 21st floor which had great views. But I would stay elsewhere in future if I can. Disappointed in the cleanliness, especially in the bathroom and especially because there are "commitment to cleanliness" signs all around the hotel.. The fire alarm went off during my first night, I found the communication was poor from the hotel about what was going on and no offer of even a free coffee in the morning from the restaurant...

Shuttle from airport cost$12pp, you can't miss it outside the airport. Takes about 10 mins. Reception is level 7, quick check in. We read previous reviews, some said....not so clean. Our room was big and clean, it's a little worn but not dirty. Cleaned each day. Decent shower and towels plus toiletries and hairdryer. Safe, iron and ironing board. Tea, coffee etc . Comfy beds, nice white linen. The position of this hotel couldn't be better, it's bang in the middle of a main street. Supermarket nearby microwave in room. Only one money exchange place nearby and no laundry. The staff are friendly and helpful. Catch the number 2 bus SEATOUN not the airport bus Down steps on left, opposite side of the road. It's far cheaper ,you walk a few minutes when you get off.We would recommend this hotel.

We had a very comfortable stay. Very centrally located. The checkin and checkout process was smooth, the facilities were exactly stated. Will definitely recommend to other travellers. Rooms: Room was very comfortable and spacious. Nearby activities: Centrally located, handy to public transport, walk to restaurants, waterfront and attractions Safety: Very safe and secure. Walkability: Very handy to walk around to shops, Publix transport, and activities.

The room was ok. Only problem with the internal communications. 1- the internet connection were poor, always disconnected even though when I go down for breakfast at level 6 of the same building. There were days when I only get connected for few hours only. 2- throughout my 5 nights stay , I came down only 3 times. Disappointing when the cafe had to verify every morning with the reception on my eligibility for breakfast, when I paid for rooms and breakfast. 3-requested something from housekeeping, but didn't get it after 2 requests.

: Room is average. : Location is great. : Wifi is complete rubbish. I had to use my mobile hotspot. If you’re on a business trip I recommend staying in other hotels. The wifi was just unusable it made me regret my decision of booking at Travelodge in the first place. I was told to go to their conference room to work. This will be my first and last time staying at Travelodge. Travelodge, please upgrade your wifi system!

All the staff are helpful and accommodating. Check-in and out is hassle free. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Location is at the heart of the city. Easy access to grocery, restaurants and public transportation.

we had a great stay here. the harbour view from our room was nice. the staff here are great. although the location is great, you’ll need to pay for parking
