Tidy and practicable. Had everything I needed. The lock safe to get your key was broken and open so luckily my key was in it. I arrived late and would have been stuck otherwise. The apartment wasn't clean but otherwise everything was great. My stay was for a one night trip for work the next day. Be careful there are stairs in the room. Despite a sign I still managed to sprain my ankle
Good location, friendly check in staff, but room cleanliness wasn’t great. The bathroom especially wasn’t well cleaned. Mould in the shower and marks on the walls. The towels were tiny and had rips in them.Rooms: 2/5
5 stars for the front of house staff, couldn't have been more helpful and lovely. The 2 Room apartment was perfect for our brief stay. Shower and beds excellent. Added bonus of being non-discriminatory
Location and staff are really nice, However they cannot control the hotel guests/housing NZ clients as they smoke in the rooms/off balconies out the front of the lobby, the hallways reek of weed or cigarettes. Please do something about this. It is disgusting.Rooms: 2/5
Positives; room was clean. Bed comfortable. Negatives; west facing the motorway. Very noisy. No aircon and room was closed up. Screaming hot, fan didn't cool room. Ridiculous steps in middle of the room. Wouldn't stay againRooms: 2/5
Great location! Apartment was fine but building looks tired. Shower is great. Facilities are fine. In a small room you'll have everything that you need: stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle etc...even wash machine and dryer. We had an issue with the bedroom...we booked double bed and it was 2 single. Staff solved the problem changing sheets...not exactly the best solution. Someone smoking in the hallway in front of our bedroom was quite annoying. Bed was not good. Mattress was probably worn out. It made very uncomfortable to sleep. Parking costs extra $25 a day and it's not in good conditions. Very tight spots and there was scaffolding around making parking a bit of a mission.
Room was spotlessly clean, staff super helpful and friendly. Really can't state that enough! Totally commend you on your front of house ladies. They were the best. Great location and everything was easy.
1. No segregation 100% 2. Service 100% 3. Clean 100% 4. Location 100% 5. Parking 100% we will recommend and definitely stay here if we return to W/W again. Thank you for an awesome stay
Great people & friendly service, beautiful & clean. Affordable too!! wee anniversary gift was very special thank you Rooms: 5/5
We stayed at the quest on the terrace for two nights. My friend and I had a room on the second floor with two seperate beds. The room itself looks tired. The paint around the windows is chipping the carpet had a lot of wear. I turned on the lights and had a light that would continuously flicker and it annoyed us so much we had to keep switching it off. My bed had a duvet that had no cover, was stained and had a rip in it. Which I photographed My friend didn’t even have a duvet on her bed.. both of our duvet covers were a top sheet.. and then just a rouge blanket.. Both of our beds did not have a fitted sheet or mattress protecter. There was noticeable staining/marking on the curtains. The shower head was broken and every time you would turn the water to full pressure it would sent the head flying up/off. The hallway and room itself had a real funky smell and the bedside table draw stunk of cigarettes. In which there is a strict no smoking policy so that had me wondering. Our window latch was broken meaning closing the window properly is impossible. The windows are single glazed which in conjunction with the lack of blankets/broken latch it was freezing. To add the complex does not have any central heating. It does have a small heater that can’t retain any heat in the room. The road noise is absolutely terrible. We both had a very restless sleep as we were being woken up every hour by continuous road noises that were so loud they sounded like they were inside our room. Our room servicing arrived at 4pm and asked us “if we needed anything” from the trolley.. but didn’t actually enter the room or have any blankets/duvet covers. Finally, the fact that we didn’t have any dish washing supplies dish wash liquid/ brush which meant that we had to leave our dishes and were unable to reuse them. The good things however is the fact that one of the receptionists is lovely. The complex has free wifi and a sky box. But other than that it was a waste of $161 a night. I will not be returning and I wish I could get my money back.
