Unit was stuffy. Not enough space. Couldn't cook hot meals we had to buy takeaways all the time. Asian people in unit G7 across from ours D4 were noisy and parking their car in the driveway where other vehicles come and go and where children ride bicycles and scooters and walk and run. But Asians only care about themselves because they don't speak English.
Bed were uncomfortable and they didn't give us the amount of double beds we asked for. During our stay, they did not replace towels or any amenities, but definitely came into our rooms while we were out. Seemed like a weird invasion of privacy if you aren't going to service the room?? The lady at the desk was rude and got angry at us when someone from our group had handed their keys into the nice man at the front desk rather than to her. The spa water was dirty and seemed like it hadn't been replaced in a long time.
I didnt like anything, I have stayed there three times, this was disgusting. No 1: We booked colleagues three rooms. We were given one room with two single beds, and one room with a double and a single pull out bed, even though we could have had bed in lounge. The two single beds had not had the sheets changed, there were hairs and stains. Disgusting. We took photos. The floor in the bathroom was sticky and didn't feel clean. The place smelled clean, but it wasn't. We tried to make phone calls to get help unanswered, emergency and reception. Wow I wonder what would happen if there was a fire? to get the bed changed, but there was no answer in either case. We had to walk down to reception in the rain only to find closed early We had to drive down in the rain to buy sheets to replace dirty ones. We had to come back and make the beds. We had to go to reception in the morning 8am to check out, only to find it closed, again at 10am at latest check out time and no one there, and had to come back at 2pm, to find someone finally able to talk to us. They took a copy of the receipt and said they would sort it out,. We asked for the sheets to be paid for nothing else, no refund of costs of staying or anything and they have now refused unless we post the sheets back. To bad about all the time we spent on this. So now we have decided to spend a little more time, recommending people not stay here. Customer service is so bad, just wouldn't bother.
As it was a last minute trip we didn’t have time to pre-book anywhere so when we got to Palmy we just decided to get a room there as it was getting late. The only thing good about it was the spa. We had to clean all of the dishes we wanted to use as they were all dirty, the couches were seemingly starting to break, the tv only had a few channels, the double bed upstairs had cat hair all over it, the beds were semi uncomfortable but even just a tiny bit of pressure on the edge of it can send you rolling off if you’re not careful my mum fell out of bed and I almost did too, the bedsheets and linen didn’t feel very clean and fresh either. Overall very unhygienic and would NOT recommend. If you’re able to get somewhere else, DO IT!!!
First family holiday in years. Looked great from pictures but how deceiving they can be. Very dated. Couch you couldn't even sit on. The only good thing was the pool and spa. Complained when checking out to get told New owners coming soon they didn't even want to know won't go back my son has now had a second rate stay
Not what I expected shared accommodation with others lost 2 nights accommodation pre paid.....as a group booking with others
Basic studio unit eg no choice of tea or coffee. No variety. No sweetener except sugar. Small bottle of milk was provided. However, reasonably priced, clean and a comfortable bed. Good location. Handy to shops and petrol stations. Free WiFi. Was ideal for me, staying just one night on my own. Would be happy to stay there again.
There were a few problems most that I could let slide however finding multiple small black hairs throughout my bed was not one I can let slide. I then went and checked my partners bed yes they set us up as two singles to also find a large black hair. I then stripped off the top blankets to photograph and found a lovely little yellow stain. My mum called reception and their voicemail advised to call the after hours line. So I called the after hours phone with no reply. So I then went to the warehouse to purchase new sheets, Which I slept in and cautiously slept with the top duvet on top of it. In the morning we received a lot of apologies and that the owner would be in contact with us. The owners response was she would refund me the cost of the sheets if we sent them the sheets, even after showing the photos! This is so rude and unacceptable. So what you can guarantee is this hotel is in an excellent location to the warehouse where you can purchase your own sheets to sleep in and the price of the "villas" is not too bad but just remember you will also have to pay for some sheets to sleep in. Also no one in my family has dark hair.....
I worked as the 2IC supervisor. It was an enjoyable place yo work. Our cleaning team were the bomb. Our cleaning was A1 as i can say. May and Terry Moore are beautiful owners of The Villas they are welcoming and supply to your every needs and I'd support you all to go try the stay there and you will not be disappointed
Nested at a quiet part of the town, this motel feels at home; spacious and decently equipped. There's ample space for parking if you drive. A short drive and you are in the heart of town. There's also an heated indoor pool and a hot spa, plus a pool table.
