Accomodation Gateway Motel

The guy at reception was lovely and friendly. Easy to communicate with. I was in room 19 and it was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable as. I hope I didn't keep my neighbors up with my screaming 6wk old Grandson. I would stay again without the screaming baby

Booked for two nights, was quoted $143 per night for two adults, was charged $147 on arrival. Were told that our unit would be service on the 2nd day. All that was done was 2x clean towels, no beds were made !! Shower, toilet, hand basin, not cleaned.!!! Had a dripping tap all night.no sky TV. The beds were shocking to sleep on, too soft, sink into the mattress so it made rolling over & getting out very difficult. Over all the unit was extremely dated , not a clean comfortable place to relax after a long trip and a big day .nDO NOT RECOMMEND THE GATEWAY MOTEL TO BOOK INTO !!!!!!!!.

One is being generous.nUpon arrival, my husband found a massive toy of the adult variety in his bedside. I arrived the following day and was instantly disgusted at the dated and dirty decor. The bathroom tap just doesn't turn off at all, everything has just been painted over, it smells. The 3 pillows allocated to our room were all as flat aa a pancake.nWe had booked 6 rooms booked in our group which included international visitors. I wouldn't let my dog stay here. Not one of our party felt this room was worth $250nzd a night which is hugely inflated for this weekend because there is a motorcycle rally on. I've never been this dissapointed in any accommodation I have stayed in. DON'T be fooled by the online photos.

Motel is a little bit dated, but it was clean and quiet. Beds were very comfy. No air-conditioning, but I think they were updating a room at a time as I did see some rooms with air con. Manager was very helpful and polite. I would stay here again

The room itself was ok, well eqiuipped, clean. The bedroom was a different story. The seat was wobbly, there was no rubbish can and the fan so bad it fell on my head during shower.
