Accomodation Gateway Motel

Excellent value. Clean and comfortable rooms. Location a bot out of city centre but price is good. very nice smarty TV great for streaming.

The place is tidy from the outside but very dirty on the inside, dry snot was wiped on toilet wall in more than one place, the floor was not cleaned in the bathroom area as had other peoples hair and dirt in corners of room, no toilet paper holder as it was broken and they just put the rolls up on windowsill behind you, the walls looked dirty in multiple other places nothing was scrubbed clean their sign saying clean is false and these units are not worth the amount charged due to not being clean plus old and tattered cabinets, tattered bedside tables, shower had mould in it, smoke burn mark in cabinet top, flooring damaged in kitchen and bathroom areas, the whole inside needs a good clean and doing up.nOn an up note, the man I dealt with was accommodating and friendly.

Rudest owners ever. Paid to be mistreated and degraded. Yes my skin is brown but that is not the extent of how she treated us. The hotel itself is wonderful just stay away from the owner and be away when the room is serviced unless you want to listen to her moan how messy you are!

Great overnight stay here! Car breakdown required urgent lodging for the night at pretty late notice. The staff were very helpful and welcoming which was comforting and reassuring to a stressed traveler! The room was absolutely beautiful, lovely decor, fresh and very clean.nI was exhausted and slept like a baby!n10/10 from menThank you Gateway Motel

Got there later in evening pushing 8pm to get to a cold room with windows still open found the heater hiding away in a cardboard. Power points in this room did not work in couple places so could put phone on charge. Then when we go jump in bed, bed was hard as anything could feel springs. At reception was told was anew bed.Was also two single beds pushed together. Very disappointing. I had went back to reception as was not at all happy and asked for refund as would have been happier to sleep in my car had paid for the 2 nights we were ment to be there, to be told couldn't get refund so they put us into another room with a little bit more of a cost, very disappointed as wasn't our fault room wasn't up to standard. Second room wasn't as bad, bed wise but overall the second room needed some work was like a emergency housing place with fridge in bathroom toilet area.nI would not recommend this place I will NEVER be staying here again
