Alpha Motor Inn

Room was extremely dated, nothing really worked, the fittings were falling apart, was cold and the television would turn on but had no channels. In addition to this the TV was so rubbish wouldn't load the operating system.nThe entertainment however was the largest cockroach I have ever seen.nPillows were crap, bed was from the 70's, and the bedding looked like was same era.nI did get some sleep though so can't be all too bad...

Very helpful and friendly staff. The room is great, definitely value for money, clean and tidy. A sink in the kitchenette area would be preferred.nA quick lick of paint in the bathroom would be great.

Stayed in room 29. The room looks tired and outdated. No AC, just found an electric fan in the cupboard. And a wall mounted panel radiant heater. Bathroom is dilapidated and has no fan ventilation. It also gets loud from the room upstairs. Clean beds and sheets. Convenient location. Good parking.

I visited Palmerston North and decided to stay in alpha motor inn with my family of 3. If I were to be honest, I had a terrible experience. The room dosent come with kitchen sink, drinking water, any wifi, no Ac, and essential amenities. We also encountered bugs at our night stay. Wifi is also an massive issue which means that the television dosent work here. The reception will also shut early and open late so you cant get any help if needed. The only good thing about this place is its location, being right in the center of the city. Overall I dont recommend a stay here if your a family with children.

This place was pretty clean had 5 beds and a clean bathroom and the people in the office were pretty nice gave me a pen when I asked overall a good place to stay
