Fitzherbert Castle Motel

I stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely warm welcome on arrival from Andy and the team. Great customer service. The staff were all so helpful and the room great value for money, very well stocked and so clean. I had slept very well and surprised as on a main road but no disruption from traffic noise. Great location as very close to the Plaza and a convenient walk also to the Square for Intercity bus stop. I felt very safe. The staff one could tell are very happy as all had excellent customer service and took pride in their work. I will definitely book the Fitzherbert Castle Motel again.

A little underwhelmed. Our room was compact, but had a good kitchenette. Reception was friendly and the check in/check out process very quick. But the downside was that housekeeping left our room unlocked, we had ants in our room, and there was no laundry, which was advertised and even mentioned in the booklet in our room.

Staff were nice and friendly. The room is dated with a fan, heater, tv, and kitchen. Beds were comfy. Very good location, very close the Plaza and city centre. Curtain missing in the bathroom, but window was high so it ok.

Great value for money and in an awesome spot with lots of shopping locations within a walking distance.nRoom was nice and couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Only issue we had was wifi being a bit slow, but it got better towards 8-9pm and as long as you download any shows/movies you want to watch it’s no issue.nWill definitely recommend and would stay again :

Wow. We checked in today. Our room is huge, much more than expected for the price. Bonus is the spa bath, which I enjoyed after dinner to chill out.
