From the very friendly welcome to checking out, was a nice experience.nYes,you can always find fault with tired paint and vinyl floors, but all was a good high standard of cleanliness.nA real bottle of milk rather than the little long life ones and a large TV if you have time for it.nBed nice and comfy. Soft. Linen and towels of very good quality.nBathroom accessories of high quality.nOver the road from the Victoria Esplanade for nice walks.nDefinitely our new place to stay when in Palmerston North.
Had a spacious room. Very clean. Service was good. Couldn't hear the road noise. Comfortable bed.
Had one night in Palmy and was booked into this establishment. I had Room 4 which was a family apartment. It had an open plan lounge and dining with kitchenette. 2 bedrooms, Large king bed and 2 single.nnTidy place, all the cooking bits you need. TV set up was great and thanks to previous guest - Mr Chu, I had free Netflix.nnTook advantage of the spa bath which made the stay more pleasing.nnCar park was full but all good.
What a pleasant experience, from the friendly hostess on arrival, the rooms are lovely and clean, comfy bed, nice linen/pillows and fluffy towels.nnThe mini oreos were a cute treat.nnLove the little touches thank-you.
I stayed here for almost three weeks in late 2023 and it was perfect for my needs. This is a very well-run motel. The hosts are professional, friendly, and very responsive to any requests. They obviously care about guest satisfaction and comfort. The room was very clean and quiet. There is a well-equipped kitchenette and a good-sized TV with many channels. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well the entire visit. The location is excellent because it is directly across the road from the Esplanade which is a fantastic urban park with natural bush, formal gardens and lots of walking paths and track, and also for families a large playground and wading pool for kids. There's a bus stop right at the gate and it's only a few minutes ride to The Square and the Plaza shopping center. I'm very happy to have chosen Harringtons for my stay and I would not hesitate to stay here again.
