Good place to stay close to stadium and speedway. Rooms clean, service good.lovely and warm. Coffee pod machind. No sky sport and condensation on sliding door wets corner of floor but not that big a deal staying only 1 night.
Room I got was standard size and neat.nHad Everything I needed for a one night stay. Friendly staff. Check-in check-out without any fuss. Not a place for site seeing but good for short visit if have to work nearby as was the case for me. I was able to plug my EV into a standard wall socket overnight as the had power point near some of the parking bays.
Carpet looked like they’d vacuumed it with a leaf blower. Dust under the bed indicated that it’s never been shifted to clean underneath. Why was I looking under the bed you ask? Because I found a handful of fake diamonds strewn around the room, of course. I can only assume they came from a bejewelled outfit from a… respectable working professional.nnRest of the room is up to a similar standard. Looks like it might have been renovated many years ago, and has since been maintained to the bare minimum. Greyed looking white towels, marked sheets, shower drain smelled like it had never been cleaned, list goes on.
Very accommodating for a regular traveler. Nice clean rooms and pleasant staff. Basic, but just what you need. Old school entertainment, still doing DVD's.
Motel is in great location and has good service and nice-clean rooms. I enjoyed my 2 nights stay. I will recommend it to whom I know. I will stay in it in my next visit to Palmerston North.
