Palmerston North Motel

9 women on sporting even over 3 nights- 3 to a unit.Had stayed there before several years ago and could not fault it.nThis time - 2 chairs in one,4 in another etc - and not enough glass ware. Cobwebs around lounges, sliding doors on all units swinging loosely,no spare pillows in wardrobes,in fact 2 cushions from sofa which were used for extra pillow were completely removed after first night,as was one pillow from double bed when a lady had taken her own.nNo beds were made. Very tired all round.. No motel light at gate at night.nOnly bonus was close to shops and our sporting venue.

I understand this is not the HiltonnAnd didn’t expect that but when u pull back the sheets and see large amounts of hair in the bed and a stained blanket, dog hair and human hair underneath the sheets,no service text onlynGet told no that most of the that is under the sheets so acceptable was a surprising text back ,very low standards and disgustingnGlad was only one night ,I changed rooms slightly better,I think the next room had the bed made not just the sniff test ,nwouldn’t recommend or stay againnTo the reply below what a joke If only the photos I added to review showednBy all the bad reviews on herenInstead of being so defensive be apologetic about the state of itnIt was disgusting and u know keep on blaming everyone for honest reviews

I haven't stayed here, I'm looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights and came across this Motel. I was interested until I read the reviews and saw the replies from the owner. It is shocking to see the attitude and unprofessionalism in the review replies. Perhaps consider taking a few Customer Service Training lessons and revamping the place, instead of becoming all defensive and rude and trying to tell customers they are wrong, despite them having photos to back up their words.

Very CHEAP owners. Highly dont recommend. Very lazy service. Gine the whole day came back for the 2nd night. Beds was half made. No spare towels. Didnt give us a milk top up. But gave us just 1 more extra hot chocolate packet they exoect to make with no milk. Never aanswer phonw or door. Worst motel

As an organisation that visits Palmerston North on a monthly basis we have made a note not to use this accommodation provider again after just one visit.nCommunication and customer service were extremely poor with the manager/owner complaining that we had 'interrupted her tea' when called at 6pm on Friday to report a missing phone. The manager/owner was insistent that no phone was present in the room and refused to look further, phoning management at the weekend to complain about the interruption which was a double-standard she seemed unable to grasp. The phone was indeed in the room. The owner/manager's attitude is not conducive to an enjoyable stay nor to a successful business and we do not recommend this motel.
