An Octo; I arrived hungry and exhausted .nI Had driven 580kms that day after two funerals - over the previous few days.nStaff were very helpful and kind. The unit was modest, well appointed and clean. Excellent parking. There was a very pleasant garden park area behind my room with seating and trees. Sadly I was too exhausted to sit out there but thought it would be nice for a breakfast area the next morning.nKindly the office provided me with phone number for a pizza delivery service. I was too tired to go out again.nHowever on arising next morning there was no water available.nUnable to toilet, wash or have coffee! I had not refilled the jug the night beforenI returned to the office to find the staff has suffered a water main drenching in their apartment hence, main had been shut down.nThey were apologetic but I received no discount or suggestion of such.nI had to forgo my shopping expedition to the city and returned home forthwith 140kms to toilet, shower etc.
dirty as room, old! paint all worm off back to wood, smells, stained super thin smelly carpet, I wouldn't want to even stay there even if I had no where to live. disgusting!!
Centrally located, clean, older but well serviced motel, very close to the child and adult friendly attractions of PNth's inner city Victoria Esplanade. Unobtrusive, obliging management and staff. Walking access to paths and tracks along the Manawatu River.
Spacious unit , 2 bedrooms . Comfortable beds , kitchen & lounge .nGreat value for money .nClose to town / park by car .nFriendly people .
Receptionist not friendly. No smile when we arrived. Bed headboard had slimy dirt not cleaned. There were cobwebs on the chairs outside, although the park at the back was a real plus.
