My assigned room was not flash, the bed was on an angle with a very small tv… after a 12 hour day travelling and working it just didn’t hit the mark. I approached reception and with all the storm cancellations etc this was the last thing they needed. However Rose listen and spent the time to understand, Rose searched for a solution in between the phone calls and other customers. Rose is a real credit to this hotel going above and beyond to find a solution, make me feel heard and recover my experience! Thank you Rose you deserve a mega pay rise and the hotel is lucky to have you!
An older hotel but you can see that it is being redecorated and lots of nice touches that made it feel special. Chatted to one of the house keeping team didn't get her name on check out. She was fantasticand so kind. She advised a route to Wellington that took in the newly opened Te Āpiti – Manawatū Gorge road and the beautiful town of Greytown, that we would have missed if we had not chatted to her
The Service provided by Kama at the Distinction Hotel & Conference in Palmerston North today, was outstanding! Professional, helpful, welcoming and going above and beyond is what we received. I would return based on his hospitality alone!
Great room, excellent service and perfect location. I had a long stay there for over 2 weeks and it was comfortable throughout. A special shout out to Karma and his team for the amazing hospitality - they were friendly, helpful and truly made the stay enjoyable.
The rooms, service and location were all perfect for us. Whilst the property is old, it is well maintained and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable.nService was excellent from all staff members we encountered during our 3 night stay.nRestaurant and bar available on site, and lots of alternative dining options all within walking distance.
