Arena Lodge

Location was good. But the mattresses were cheap and had. The constant humming from the substation next door made it difficult to get to sleep. The cleaning of the room consisted of a new set of towels and the rubbish bin emptied. Nothing else.nOne of us checked out a day prior and we thought to pile the sheets up on the bed so it could be remade with clean sheets, I got back to the room to the same pile of sheets on the bed untouched.nConsidering the price I would have expected the vacuum cleaner to be used, bench wiped, and the bed to be made. Ok place if you are looking for basic customer service across the board.nI will say that that having a plunger coffee pot and coffee was a good addition which I enjoyed.nOverall it was unfortunately not the best experience.

I would stay here again, handy to the arena and shops, café.

Arena Lodge is a great place to stay. The room is well presented, clean and with everything you require supplied. Close by to all services within Palmerston North. Highly Recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here while visiting family in PN.nSpent 9 nights in the three bedroom apartment - this was a perfect home-away-from-home for our family.nOur host was friendly, helpful and accommodating at all times, going above and beyond expectations.nWe'll be back on our next trip over the ditch!

I had a job in palmy so stayed for a night. The job is leading to a good month's work for a company I was put on to the job for and I've already told them stay away from this place when you go down.nTV in the bedroom didnt work, blankets and pillows smelt like old and uncleaned, no bowls in the kitchen, the beds were uncomfortable.nYet when telling them about these obvious things they couldn't locate any of it apart from saying the TV was getting replaced I bet it won't. Guys spend some money and upgrade the furnishings. The motel looks nice but doesn't feel how it looks.
