Copthorne Hotel Palmerston North

The room was very comfortable, but the bathroom hand basin drains away extremely slow. It would have been nice to have had a small microwave there, you can heat more with a microwave than a jug.nOn the whole experience was pleasant and would stay there again. Walking distance to city centre of town and that's a bonus.

We stayed for 2 nights! We had breakfast and dinners in the hotel.nIt is very welcoming, very clean and the food was excellent!nThere is plenty of secure parking.nWe highly recommend Copthorne Hotel Palmerston North!

Fantastic stay this weekend, super helpful and easy. Great communication. The food at the hotel restaurant Jimmy Cooks was OUTSTANDING as well so an absolute win win place to stay.

Good overall accommodation place in Palmy. The lifts are a bit old and the renovation work is taking forever. The location is great close to the city centre but in Palmy everywhere is at close distance. At night the entrance gates to car park are locked. In order to open them you need to enter the 4 digit code provided at the check in. Be careful of the direction of the opening of the gates as they are not sliding type. If you leave the car too close to the gate, it will damage your car. The food is somewhat boring.

Stayed for the weekend! The only positive is, it has a good sized room and comfortable bed! Would have had a fantastic stay if it wasn’t for the horrendous noise due to the renovations going on!!! I was never informed of this and I was hoping for a relaxing stay but was forced to have to spend my days during the weekend out and about! They should stop the construction over the weekend. Had I known that construction men would be walking outside my window on scaffolding I would have stayed somewhere else!! I don’t get away often so was really disappointed!!
