The Spencer Hotel

We stayed for 2 nights a couple weeks ago, please be aware the restaurant is closed, the pool is closed , the place is super run down, you don't get towels changed unless you are there for 3 nights or you have to pay more. Parking is extra, wifi cancelled if you don't login the first night. I think these guys have forgotten what it means to be in hospitality. The room was not fully cleaned before we got to the room, with my kids finding drug paraphernalia on the balcony of our room.... The view of the city was nice.

I was disappointed in this hotel. I spent $220 US dollars for 1 night and the pool, hot tub, restaurant was closed. The gym was pretty nice and had a lot of equipment however; the tennis court was run down. The rooms were ok but some dust on the tables and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The flooring in the rooms were old. The balcony overlooking the city made up for the negatives as well as the clean bathrooms.

Good hotel! Stayed here for a few days and the hotel room was good, beds nice, and the view was fantastic. Good location for visiting the beach and fun shops/eateries nearby. Front desk attendants were friendly and helpful. Gym was really nice.

Close to the beach and also there are plenty of places to eat near the area. The internet is slow but enough to check emails. Like that there are plenty of usb points where you could charge your devices. I also like that I can set the temperature of the room to what I want as this affect the way I sleep. Overall experience is good.

Really enjoyed the room at the Spencer very spacious one bedroom facing the city amazing views Sky TV in both rooms individual decoders … Very relaxingnThe one letdown was a very uncomfortable king bed ,It was that bad unfortunately we had to put a Pillow underneath our backnUnfortunately slept only one hour on the first night and it ruined our next day as you can imaginennI told the Reception guy Manul He was sympathetic sorted our problem out without replacing the bed . He showed great communication skills dealing with a customer that had only Sleep one hour The previous nightnMuch appreciated ManulnSee you again thank you
