This hotel is top notch! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The design of the hotel is gorgeous! Every staff member we have encountered goes above and beyond. So kind and helpful. They also left a pastry treat in our room for my husband’s birthday. We liked everything so much that we added another night. Excellent location. Close to restaurants and shopping. The restaurants in the hotel are very good and again the staff is amazing. We really enjoyed the pool and the hydrotherapy room. The locker room is beyond everything you will need. This is a perfect hotel to get away and spoil yourself!
We have enjoyed staying at Park Hyatt so much that we chose to have our wedding there earlier this year. A huge thank you to Brie, Sharon and the events team who ironed out some last minute challenges and supported a perfect day for us. Food and service were impeccable. We recently celebrated my birthday at the PH and again the team went above and beyond. Highly recommend this stunning property on all fronts.
Hotel is stunning! Staff were accommodating, attentive, respectful and so welcoming. The room service food 10/10. Restaurants inside the hotel so you didn't need to leave the hotel at all. The cocktails I tried were so good Kiwi Daquiri, Pandan cocktail hats off to the bartender and the FOH staff member who recommended them. Heated infinity pool, spa, sauna and gym available for use all clean. Bars and other restaurants nearby if you enjoy a night out. Highly recommend a room with a harbour view it was beautiful. The room I was in itself was safe, perfect and clean. Will be booking again for any future hotel bookings in the CBD.
The wife recently dragged me here for my 50th birthday weekend.nnThe rooms are great - they very kindly upgraded us to a Harbor view.nnThe “living room” is a great to sit and chill. We lost a few hours over drinks and just staring out the window.nnThe “Captains Bar” - what a treat. I got lost in many good rums with fantastic advice from a very friendly and knowledgeable Argentinian Bar man sorry bar person.nnOnemata - lovely room for diner and breakfast too. The wine list not for breakfast is extensive - probably one of the best I’ve seen in a while.nFood is great.nnWe found the service excellent across all Hotel touch pointsnnI’ll come back. Loved it. Many thanks.
Park Hyatt Hotel AucklandnnStayed here two times now and absolutely adore this property! From the outside, it’s hard to grasp how amazing this rather unassuming building is made in the inside. On my first trip, they upgraded me to a huge room which was bigger than the suites in most hotels but apparently wasn’t even a proper “suite”. Coming back recently to celebrate my partner’s 40th birthday, we were given an even bigger, proper suite and it was absolutely massive. All the rooms are modern while not overly plush and reflect the theme of sailing and the traditional Maori people very well, something that’s evident in the beautiful lobby and other parts of the hotel too. Staff was generally friendly and city is easily reachable via a pedestrian bridge but there are various food and entertainment options in the immediate vicinity as well.nnStatus recognition as a Hyatt Globalist was perfect, not only the upgrades but also the warm welcome, various in room amenities and also of course the free breakfast. Breakfast is a rather lavish affair though we noted the restaurant manager to be a bit aggressive to his hard working staff members which is always a bit off putting.nnFinally the only real disappointment is the pool which simply doesn’t really work, seems like an afterthought which is a real shame: While I had beautiful views and afternoon sunshine on my terrace during the first stay it would easily fit 20 people so way bigger than a “balcony”, the pool is on level 2 and faces the windy and shady side of the hotel. It has an infinity edge with views of the brewpub and the top of the ugly silos opposite of it. They’ve planted trees there so that you don’t have to see the brewpub and silos, hence the view from the infinity edge is… Trees! Awesome idea, must have been the same architect that designed the Hilton pool in Surfer’s Paradise which happens to sit in the shadow of its own hotel building all day.
