This is probably one of the top 3 hotels I have ever stayed in and have stayed in some really nice ones. It is a newer hotel and they have used so many new technology features throughout the hotel - in the rooms, in the gym and spa area and everywhere! The rooms are beautiful and very well arranged with super comfortable beds. The concierge staff was very helpful and The Pantry restaurant was a great place for breakfast. There is a pedestrian bridge very close that allows you to walk very quickly to the viaduct harbor area where there are tons of restaurants. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - you will not be disappointed!
We stayed at the Park Hyatt Auckland for four nights in October 2024 and were blown away by the quality of the hotel and the level of service. The room was immaculate and very well appointed, with a view of the harbor. The food at Onemata was superb and the Living Room was very good for casual dining. High Tea was sumptuous. The spa was wonderful as was the pool and sauna.
The perks are what made this hotel worth it. 20 hours of travel to get here, and they give us keys to the spa area to shower and relax, then take our luggage to hold onto until we can check in. Made our first day in NZ comfortable and welcoming. The room was modern with a big balcony. Breakfast was delicious and my favorite on our entire 16-day trip. My only note is that it can get noisy. I don't fault the hotel, it's downtown but that traffic can be loud. Still loved our stay!
Nice place and we had our room facing the water. Breakfast was good as well though we had to order through the menu for hot meals. For basic breakfast like cereals, milk, fruit - you are able to just get it on ur own. Nice overall.
One of the best hotels I've stayed at in the world. It's not a resort, but it feels like a business hotel stuck in resort purgatory. The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. The rooms are of the highest standards, with the best views in Auckland. It's in a quiet area, with no party or traffic noise. The food and bar is relaxing and set in a open space viewing the water. It's as if a resort got stuck on its way to becoming a business hotel
