Hilton Auckland

Stayed for 5 nights. King harbour view room. While most things were really nice and service was great, there were just a few minor let downs. Quite a few of the tiles on our balcony were cracked which caused constant water to squelch through, meaning the balcony was always wet to walk on. Also it’s not a nice look for a 5 star hotel. Something to consider is the location, being at the end of the long pier, it is quite a walk to the main streets. But the view looking back to city from the room is beautiful. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathroom is spacious with bath and shower.nThe check in, check out and extending our stay process with front desk was painfully slow. Possibly the slowest I’ve seen. But the manners are perfect. Slightly disappointed that this stay was pre arranged for my birthday. Would have expected better consideration as to the room we were placed in.

My favorite thing at this hotel was the service. Every single person was extremely attentive and helpful, even helping me have coffee and a packed breakfast early morning when everything was closed. Will recommend to anyone visiting Auckland. The location is also convenient and close to several shops and restaurants.

Absolutely fantastic! Stayed in a lovely, clean, well kept, spacious room. An upgrade to a harbor side room with a balcony was well worth the expense. The buffet breakfast is located in the Fish restaurant space with grand views of the harbor. The breakfast offers a wide variety of items. Friday evening was wonderfully special because opera singers provide outstanding entertainment in the lobby with a talented pianist. Outstanding service! A gem.nnThe location is a short walk from the Britomart transit station. Ferries leave from the nearby harbor regularly so rooms on the harbor side may notice low levels of sound from the ships. Cruise and container ships dock within view.nnAfternoon tea is an option for those inclined. Prompt room service delivery. Nice selection of wine, sparkling wine, cocktails, and beer in the bar.

Wow! What a nice hotel! But the room wasn’t ready when we arrived! We had to wait several hours. But anyway I really enjoyed staying at this Hilton. The room was big and spectacular, and the chocolate they left for me was delicious! The view from the room is beautiful, with a big balcony that almost encircles my room. This is amazing!

What a wonderful hotel. From the J. S. DEWS mural to the room appointments, this hotel was constructed and is run with care to even the tiniest details. The sumptuous lobby with more than one fireplace is very inviting. The rooms are luxurious. The staff is on top of their game.
