Hilton Auckland

Great 2 night stay at the Hilton. Hotel is built to model a cruise ship on the outside and has a lovely lobby, bar area and breakfast area. We were upgraded to a sea view room with a large balcony as a diamond member and sat and watched the boats come in and out of the harbor as could see the downtown Auckland area. The room and bathroom had a good amount of space and were clean. No issues encountered. The location is excellent with easy access to the harbor areas with tons of restaurants and shops. Service at the hotel was also top notch from front desk to bar to concierge. Highly recommend.

Our stay at the Hilton Auckland was nothing short of spectacular! We booked 2 deluxe suites with conjoining rooms, and it was the perfect setup for our family of five 3 adults and 2 children. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, providing more than enough room for everyone to relax and enjoy.nnThe highlight, of course, was the harbor-facing view on the top floor—absolutely stunning! Waking up to the sight of the Auckland Harbor and city skyline was an unforgettable experience. It added a special touch of tranquility and luxury to our stay. We stayed during New Years 2025 and enjoyed the fireworks from Skytower from the balcony!nnThe service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel’s location is also unbeatable, placing us close to Auckland’s best attractions and waterfront dining.nnWhether you’re traveling as a couple, a family, or a group, the Hilton Auckland delivers a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and breathtaking views. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed this weekend and it was meant to be a very special stay. Valet parking is not even valet, you park your own car and they move it around as they see fit, no nice welcome, lovely lobby, stunning location. Our room on the 6th floor was horrible! The rooms are run down, showers and tiles dirty, the robes even have small rips in them. There were nuts on the carpet under the desk, we didn't have any nuts, and hair on the bathroom floor. This hotel is very run down, they only seem to have kept the restaurant and lobby looking 5 star. We stay in a lot of hotels, in our opinion, we would give the room a 2 star! Even the bedding had marks on it and they only left two towels, one face towel and one hand towel in the room. Everything we ate was delicious and front of house staff were great. Valet, restaurant, and cleaning staff....not so great. The restaurant even tried to sit me with a complete stranger twice, and then said I couldn't sit at the table where my husband was. It was a very bad experience, and cost us over $650 dollars. Very disappointing to say the least. If you like beautiful hotels, we do not recommend you stay here. It is not Hilton standard.

This a great place to experience Auckland NZ. Location is great near everythingnnOne of the best restaurants in the city on the premises the name is Fish. Perfectly cooked fishnnOne of the best hotel breakfasts ever amazing juices poached Kiwi fruit. Great potato’snnBest concierge service we’ve had. A rental car company Thrifty bailed on us, could have ruined our trip, they called around until we found a car, lots of effort calming a panicked couple.nnGreat gym, nice pool etc. Nespresso machines in every room, nice touch

Special thank you to Fred at the door who made our day. Had a hard time with the guards at the cruise ship terminal nearby Laid a complaint against them they were totally out of order. But Fred turned our day around completely with his smile and interactions. Had a lovely lunch here. What a difference when you got a staff that is so welcoming. Will definitely return again. Thank you Fred.
