Omg. This must be one of the best stocked shops in the Southern Hemisphere, let alone Aotearoa. Massive selection of gorgeous wools, often with sample garments displayed adjacent. Huge selection ofatrrials, needles, ribbons, threads, for all crafting, crochet, knitting and sewing. And painting, drawing, notebooks.

Amazing range of art and craft supplies! Excellent customer service, one of my items was no longer available and the staff who contacted me was very polite and the issue was resolved promptly. The items were packaged really well and arrived speedily. I will definitely be purchasing from The Ribbon Rose again!

With quality craft shops disappearing in towns and cities all over the country I was pleased to find this company online. I have placed a number of orders with them. Not only do they stock an amazing variety of goods but they are incredibly fast and efficient at getting postal orders away. I had to query an order which turned out to be entirely my own fault and again they were wonderfully prompt at getting back to me and sorting the issue out. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Beautifully arranged store and very helpful staff.nI learned about the store when we were on a trip to Australia and New Zealand.nIt was nice to have an opportunity to visit and shop at the store.nOn the ground floor, there is a really nice selection of high quality yarns for those who knit and/or crochet.nThere was a very large selection of embroidery and cross stitch fibers. There was also a very nice selection of linen fabrics and aida cloth as well as fully kitted cross stitch and embroidery projects.nnThe first floor was art supplies and paints. I am not a painter, but the selection seemed to be very nice.nnThe second floor was filled with beautiful fabrics for the quilter or seamstress.nnI would have purchased more things, but my luggage was already very full.
