Don’t bother shopping here, I’ve been going in very second day because of the big clearance sale but the staff haven’t marked down any of the clearance fabric. Some of the fabric has been on clearance for over 3 months at Manukau, it’s on clearance at Sylvia Park also but they don’t bother labelling it. I had to ask the staff to check every single item and some fabric bundles were down from $45 to $8. I informed multiple staff on different days but they didn’t mark them. I’ve been going in to see if there are any good deals but not worth the hassle. I called customer service and they said it’s up to the store when they want to label it on clearance! But it’s already on clearance! Ridiculous excuse! Why advertise big clearance sale if you don’t know what’s on sale. NOT WORTH IT! Shop at Manukau, better customer service and everything is labelled clearance on time!

My partner and I regularly shop at your Sylvia Park store, and unfortunately, disappointed is an understatement when it comes to our recent experiences.nWe frequently visit to browse the fabric clearance sales, as we are specifically looking to stock up on discounted fabrics. However, the clearance section appears to be poorly managed. Clearance stock is not listed online by store, so we make the effort to visit in person — yet when we do, it is often unclear what is actually on clearance due to items not being stickered or clearly marked.nOn multiple occasions:nPrice scanners have not been working.nClearance fabrics including fat quarters have remained unstickered for weeks.nWhen we’ve offered to help by gathering known markdown items to be labeled, we were told staff would “get to it” — yet three weeks later, the stock remains untouched.nWe were told markdown lists are discarded once completed, despite markdowns not actually being processed.nThis defeats the purpose of holding a clearance sale. Customers cannot confidently shop when pricing is unclear, and repeatedly asking staff to check prices makes us feel like an inconvenience.nAdditionally, the store is often difficult to navigate. The layout feels overcrowded, aisles are tight especially with a trolley, and the general presentation can be messy. We have even found outdated promotional posters still displayed, sometimes with incorrect pricing, and on occasion have been overcharged despite signage still being within valid dates.nWe choose this location because of its convenience, but the lack of stock rotation, pricing accuracy, and overall upkeep makes it increasingly frustrating to shop there.nWe would appreciate it if these concerns could be reviewed and addressed, particularly around:nTimely processing and labeling of clearance stocknFunctional price scannersnClear and accurate signagenImproved store organisationnWe genuinely enjoy shopping at Spotlight and would love to see this store operating to the same standard as others

If you want exceptional service in furnishings and fabric, then go and see customer service superstar shabna, she not only helped me select the curtains and then got a special cart and helped me load to the car as the blinds were very heavy… nothing was a problem… shabna you are amazing and I appreciate all your support, spotlight is lucky to have you

June is one of the best retail helpers we have ever encountered. She had all the answers and took the time to explain everything to us in detail. She truly needs a raise and I hope she gets one!!!! Thank you so much!
