Menu plus cabinet food. Staff friendly, plenty of seating. A selection of teas and coffee available. Portions were more than adequate, very tasty with a range of menu items. Lots of reserved tables but we managed to get a table without booking.
Tried The Borough the other night for the first time. Super spacious and the tables become packed as soon as we were half way through our meals which is a good sign!nnWe started off with a couple of cocktails and frozen margaritas which was both delicious. For mains we got the pork belly as well as the fish of the day and halloumi fries. The pork belly and fish chip was cooked perfectly - both had delicious flavours too! There wasn’t anything special with the halloumi fries but it still went well with the mains.
My partner and I went in for a late lunch in the afternoon. The place was overstaffed but no one came to take our order. The chips were very undercooked but the coffee was good. Overall pretty disappointed with food being undercooked and service lacking considering we were 1 of 2 groups at dining the venue. I've had much better experiences in the past but it's hard to look past this one
Had dinner here the other night!nLoved that the pub side and the dining side wete separate- especially with the rugby on!nFood was average for the price, and a little under seasoned - however, I'm not complaining! I left full and satisfied.nService was friendly and fast!
Always good here! Great deals via Goody. The staff are really friendly and they do great pub-meals - entrees/snacks are awesome too.nnThe range of beers are great and forever changing, so you're bound to find something you like.
