We had some birthday vouchers to use thanks to Star Social and decided to have lunch and a cheeky drink.nnHaving been to the Borough before we knew what we were in for and we were not disappointed.nnWith the staff being helpful and friendly as always, ample seating options, and a vibrant atmosphere full of people enjoying themselves.nnAs usual we could have picked many items from the menu and finally opted to share a burger and the Schnitzel with a drink both on the daily deal.nnBoth were delivered quickly, at a good temperature, and were of good sizes.nnI'm not usually a Schnit man, but I've had a few; this ranked up there with the best of them.nnThe brisket burger was sizable, well put together, and full of flavour! Rating highly on the burgometer!nnBetween both options we were very pleased, and very full!nnAnother fun and enjoyable dining experience, and we'll be back.
We had such a wonderful experience thanks to Sala. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming and made us feel genuinely cared for. Her customer service was outstanding — warm, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating of our needs. It’s rare to meet someone who brings such positive energy to their role, and Sala absolutely elevated our dining experience.nAnd the food — absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. Thank you, Sala, for making our visit memorable. We’ll definitely be back.
Could not have had a more perfect experience. Decided literally last minute to call in. Got the platter and BBQ pizza. WOW! Platter is divinenand incredibly well stocked! Love the homemade sauces!Pizza is the most supreme example of hand-crafted I've ever had. Base is exceptional and by far my favorite ever I'm in my 40s and have had a few pizzas over the years..lets leave it at that! LolnLOLnIndulged in an Espresso Martini each to finish off...and wished we'd brought a sober driver with us cos despite it being her 3rd shift...bar lady NAILED IT and we could have quite happily spent the arvo sipping away on multiple episodes of her handywork while enjoying the chilled friendly and super welcoming vibe.nLove The Borough and will most definitely be back.

By far THE best bar restaurant in Wellington. A must visit. Highly recommend the cocktails and the WOAP burger. The staff are so friendly & attentive. Looking to have my birthday here with family and friends in the next few months and can’t wait. Would definitely come again. Thank you to the team x
