We had some birthday vouchers to use thanks to Star Social and decided to have lunch and a cheeky drink.nnHaving been to the Borough before we knew what we were in for and we were not disappointed.nnWith the staff being helpful and friendly as always, ample seating options, and a vibrant atmosphere full of people enjoying themselves.nnAs usual we could have picked many items from the menu and finally opted to share a burger and the Schnitzel with a drink both on the daily deal.nnBoth were delivered quickly, at a good temperature, and were of good sizes.nnI'm not usually a Schnit man, but I've had a few; this ranked up there with the best of them.nnThe brisket burger was sizable, well put together, and full of flavour! Rating highly on the burgometer!nnBetween both options we were very pleased, and very full!nnAnother fun and enjoyable dining experience, and we'll be back.
The food was amazing! The dishes were bigger than we thought and had to take some away. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun while eating lunch! Our server, Emmars, was lovely, friendly and gave great service : would come here again!
Steak was great. The crispy pork belly dish tasted good but wasn't crispy. However, enjoyed the atmosphere with the family outing. We were served by Lily E. Service was excellent. Will come back again.
Returned to The Borough on Friday evening 07 Nov - 2025.nMy wife had the chicken schnitzel with mash and coleslaw, and I had the caesar salad with chicken. We also ordered the pork bites, some squid rings and chips.nThe kai was on, chicken schnitzel was the bomb could've done with a little more gravy, caesar was mean, crunchy, fresh, and easy to eat.nPork bites always deliver, and squid rings were mean.nnIf you get a chance, head to The Boroughs, it's a mean kai and the atmosphere is always awesome.
We loved the service and the menu was great. Tried to recreate the nachos at home after that, wasn't as good as you guys.
