I had dinner with my family last Saturday evening and had a lovely time! Most of us ordered the seafood boil which was so yummy and flavourful. My only critique would be that the seafood was slightly on the chewier side and the sausage was a bit dry, other than that it was perfect! I personally ordered the spicy creole tua tua seafood boil and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely come here again!
Looked nice on the plate. But the coleslaw 2*had no flavour to speak of and just not desirable to eat, worst of all most of the meat was chewy and tough to eat with a strange tangy flavour that stayed with me all night and next day 1* Chips were great though 4* though provide some flavourful sauce as condiments.nTo all chefs out there, taste your food. It’s simple, get the flavours, seasoning and tenderness correct. My wife’s Tacos looked great but again nothing about the flavour jumped out to make it memorable or special.nI really hope they get it together. This smokehouse meat should break apart in my mouth and be full of smoky flavours.
Tasty food, quick service and a beautiful ambience. We’ve visited multiple times and always had a great experience.
There were 10 of us there for lunch. We all very pleased with the food we ate and the service. One of us preferred the omelette cooked a little bit more and that was done without any hesitation on speaking to one of the staff and it was done immediately. My Caesar salad was presented to minus the anchovies and that was also rectified immediately. Our previously booked seating considerations were all met. The atmosphere and service were perfect, 10 out of 10. The background music was very relaxing and with the perfect volume. We could hear the music and still be able to carrying on a conversation with our friends.
The seafood chowder was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the lager paired perfectly with it. Such a cozy spot with great food—highly recommended!
