Excellent food here at Mr Go’s! We got takeaway for a meeting I was attending, and chose the fried chicken bao, and other sides such as chicken, dumplings, bok choi and fries. These were all excellent, chicken was tender thigh meat, the dumplings had a Sichuan pepper kick, and even the fries were really good and different! The fried tofu was okay but went well with the spicy peanut sauce. I would definitely recommend Mr Go’s for takeaway. I will be returning to try the pork belly bao and other things that peak my fancy!
This tucked away restaurant was a real surprise. We were recommended this place and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, very well presented and delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. This is a must visit when in Wellington.nnThe calamari toast is a twist on the prawn toast normally found in Chinese/Thai restaurants. Much more tasty. The pork dumplings were superb as was the popcorn chicken. All washed down with a local hazy beer.nnHighly recommend
Mr Go’s in Wellington is such a cool place to eat. The vibe is relaxed, the staff are super friendly and fun. They serve amazing Asian-fusion dishes that are perfect for sharing, plus a great selection of drinks and beers. The food comes out fast, everything fresh and full of flavor. Lots of seating, good music, and just an awesome atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit – perfect spot for a night out with friends.
It’s the best food we’ve had in NZ. We’ve been here 8 years. Super fresh, full of flavour, generous portions, friendly attentive staff, great atmosphere, and good drinks. Located centrally.nBooking essential
The food was some of the most interesting food we had in New Zealand in a good way. The kung-pow cauliflower was really tasty, I really liked the corn chorizo cheese dip and the miso chicken yakitori was very good but a bit salty. The drinks were also very good. I had the Pimm's and hibiscus highball and it was great
