WOW... what an incredible experience! The service was impeccable all through the night.. such lovely, friendly wait staff. The meals 3 were vegetarian were exquisite works of art with the most amazing taste combinations. It's hard to pick a favourite, they were all outstanding. We all loved every dish - fennel soup was so interesting and divine, and the blackcurrant dish was such an absolute delight to end an incredible evening. The lemoncello cocktail was the best we have ever had, and as it was my daughters 21st we were given on the house drinks which actually made me cry, I was so touched by the gesture and generosity! We all agreed it was by far the best dining experience we have ever had, and we are so grateful for such a special way to spend a 21st birthday. Thank you all

The most amazing food I've tried to date. Every course was exquisite the service was exceptional. Helen was so calm throughout the evening plating up works of art. Really relaxed atmosphere. We most definitely will be back.

Some of the best fine dining dishes I've had in New Zealand! I had the 9 course menu and every single course was surprising and creative and also incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is nice and cozy while staying relaxed and unpretentious and the food is absolutely top-notch. Highly recommend!

We booked this meal on a recommendation having found Wellington City fine dining experiences slim pickings. To call this a hidden gem would be incorrect, as a full house suggests its not hidden at all. But a gem it is! The six course set menu was one delightful surprise after another with the crescendo being a perfectly cooked tender beef cheek. The non alcoholic drinks paired with each course added to the creativity and exquisite flavours of each course. On top of the amazing food came the amazing warm freindly service with food arriving faultlessly with skills belieing the youth of the wait staff. I could go on. Treat yourself. $$$ but this establishment surely must rank with some of the best in NZ.
