Little Penang has the vibe of an authentic Malaysian coffee shop and is clearly a popular spot. I had the char kuey teow, which was full of flavor with succulent prawns and tasty lap cheong sausages, all cooked to perfection. The medium spice level was a bit hotter than I expected, and I usually handle spice well! Service was quick and efficient. Definitely worth a visit.
We went here for dinner yesterday. This was our first visit here. We ordered a starter and 2 mains. Mains came to table first, when we enquired abt the order then starters were provided. Food was ok until I found a plastic piece in my main food. I called manager to table, she apologized and said she will not charge for that particular dish. I m not sure how to react to this. Is that the hygiene they follow in kitchen? If I would not hv noticed then that sharp plastic wud hv been in my mouth and wud hv caused bleeding. It looks like they store cooked materials in cheap plastic containers, hence the container broke and was in my food while cooking. Never visiting them again. U shud not visit them either. U hv been warned!!
Little penang is a Malaysian restaurant with good food and sitting place indoors.nWe tried their Mee goreng and roti & curree combo. The vegetarian roti and curree combo wasn't that nice although it was in good amount but Mee goreng is nice and filling. You get value for money here.nThere is no parking outside but some on street spots are there that are not free.
Really nice restaurant for a quick lunch with the good food . Many choices especially the deep fried bitter with the pork mince is the best !
Had lunch during a weekday - came in around 11am so i was served fast but they got really busy after that!nnSadly i thought the nasi lemak will also have fried chicken but the server said they only do that during dinner.. curry only had 3 chunks of boneless chix thigh and a couple of small potatoes.. 20nzd for that meal i think plus i ordered the sticky pandan rice dessert for another 3+nzd.- it was okay taste wise.nValue for money? No.nTaste? Curry taste just like any other curry in town.nnTheir noodle dishes looks and smells great tho, ill give them a try next time and see
