Little Penang has the vibe of an authentic Malaysian coffee shop and is clearly a popular spot. I had the char kuey teow, which was full of flavor with succulent prawns and tasty lap cheong sausages, all cooked to perfection. The medium spice level was a bit hotter than I expected, and I usually handle spice well! Service was quick and efficient. Definitely worth a visit.
We drop by for snacks. Pretty good lopak Penang snacks serve it hot and crunchy, will come back to try other Malaysian dish. And good price in wellington.
Craved some Malaysian food while my wife and I visited Wellington and decided to try Little Penang. Lovely restaurant located in the city on Victoria St. Very clean, bright and welcoming restaurant. Staff that served us was super friendly. We tried the char kway teow and it was delicious. Very much reminded me of good Penang kway teow that I had growing up. Very generous with the ingredients. Also tried the teh tarik, which was honestly average which is why I can only give 4 stars for the food overall. Also got a vegetable curry puff which was pleasantly tasty. Would definitely return if we ever visited Wellington again. Worth a try for anyone craving good Malaysian food. As a whole experience, 5 stars.
had the salted lychee soda super good and it had some chia seeds i think really good food !! lots of options
