Great for people who like pub meals. They serve pub food but they do a really nice job of it. You can't go wrong with 1kg of ribs really, can you? Snapper was the fish of the day, yum! I had pork belly and I thought it was good. Dad had bangers and mash and my friend had fish and chips. The staff were excellent. It does get busy at dinner times.
Went here for trivia night, which was actually a lot of fun! The atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the night. However, the food was shockingly bad—even for bar food standards. I wasn’t expecting fine dining, but what we got was genuinely disappointing. If you’re coming for drinks, trivia, and a good vibe, it’s worth a visit. Just maybe eat beforehand.
Amazing experience all round for our group of 4! We didn't pre-book a table for 4, but we were greeted warmly and was given the option to sit wherever. We were there at lunch time, so we sat outside area as it was a lovely day! We stayed until dinner time as we continue on after lunch with some drinks! It's definitely a great place to chill and catch up with friends and family. Their food was delicious! We got the burgers and steak meals as well as their seafood chowder!! Yummm! Margaritas was delicious too! And the staff were lovely and kind. Thank you! We will definitely be back again!
Our party of four enjoyed our visit to 1841. Friendly service. Good food. Adequate portions. Lots of sport options on TVs dotted around the place. It was bigger than I expected. Easy parking.
This would be our 3rd visit together as an3-some as it's usually 4 of us.nLil sis, mum and I enjoyed our lovely starters of twister prawns followed by our lovely main meal of steak, chicken, and burger meal with lovely salad and hot chips. The service also so good as usual, considering the many diners in at the time... See you next time and thanks again for always such a great meal and likewise service.nPS Wow I had to take a pic of the cool art work in the ladies. No, I never had any alcoholnot that day!!n
