Always love coming here when in Wellington as it's close to where we are - it's always busy which says a lot about the food -  nice  to look out at the ocean no matter what the  day and watch the planes coming in at odd angles on the windy days. I've left pics of our food on this day - the burger special with beer and the scrambled eggs - only thing we were disappointed that the server whipped away our mocha BEFORE we'd had the marshmallows- we were saving the best for last - waaaahhh!

Spruce Goose has always been my favorite place in Wellington. Knowing it will close on the 8th of February fills me with a deep sadness. It carries so many beautiful memories with friends and family. I will truly miss sitting there, sharing moments, and drinking coffee.nBig thanks to the staff I will Miss you all

Spruce Goose never disappoints. the kai is always on point and usually comes out quick with hardly any wait. great spot to grab a bite before a flight. Only downside is how loud it gets inside, especially when it’s busy, due to the cafe setup. If you have sensitive ears, it can be a bit much and you end up having to sometimes yell to hear one another

The food is great and the atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing as well. If you seat outside also can viewing the flight takeoff to the sky. And the beach side view is beautiful too.

Burger was awesome! Good coffee, cabinet apple pie heated was well paired. Waffles are extra sweet
