Came here couples time for their seafood chowder, very tasty creamy and lot of flavors. Hubby chose to eat waffle with extra fried chicken, he really love it because not to sweet just enough.nWhen the weather is nice, just sit outside and enjoy the sea view.nStaff was really nice and offering my kids coloring paper for activity.nReally recommend and will come back again.
We enjoyed our meals at The Spruce Goose so much! My husband had the Seafood chowder and said it was the most flavourful that he has ever tasted. I enjoyed the Spruce Goose waffles and they were amazing! The cappuccino was perfect! The atmosphere was very pleasant, great view out the window of the waterfront where you can watch people surf and you can also see Air New Zealand land and take off. Service was fast and friendly.
Really nice place for brunch and enjoy a cup of coffee! The outside seatings are perfect. I got the breakfast burger and my favourite, cappuccino with cinnamon, both taste really good.nNot so crowded when i was there, just perfect time and perfect place. Definitely will be back especially if the weather is better than my previous visit.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch with my mum and husband. My mum loved the atmosphere of the place and enjoyed her first meal in Wellington since arriving a few minutes from Fiji.nnLoved the meal, just a little disappointed at the dense-ness of the carrot cake, may need to be a little more moist. Icing was yummy though!!nThank you nThanks again
The value for money is brilliant, the portions are pretty large for the price. The service was top notch and the vibe welcoming.nThe environment is a must if you are an aviation enthusiast being located next to the runway.nI will definitely be back!!!
