Quest Auckland

Stayed here with friends for a concert night. Location was excellent, walked to and from our venue. Staff at front desk are great. Parking is very tight but usable- better for small cars. Rooms are spacious and modern. Very nice, but housekeeping lacking. 2 half empty milk bottles in the fridge, one out of date. Dirt on wall above ensuite shower and the last visitors feedback card still there- and filled out!

While I couldn't complain about the actual Quest or its staff. However, the fact that my room faced Queens Street across from a bar that played music way above legal decibels allowed and far into the early hours of the morning. And it happened two nights out of three. And for this reason I'll will not be staying there again.Rooms: 4/5

We were in this hotel for one month when we just moved to New Zealand. Hotel is okay but staff are amazing! Big shout out to Shy, Hugo and Brie. Shy and Hugo are the best ones in housekeeping, you can really see the difference they make and attention to detail. And Brie is always there to help at the reception! Thank you guys!Service: 5/5

The view, locations and staff were perfect however there was ants everywhere in our bathroom and I woke up with bites all over me after sleeping in the bed. Overall there are better places but in times of need or for a very short stay quest is fineRooms: 3/5

Our family had the privilege of being housed in the Quest 2 bedroom apartment for 2weeks while our daughter started her first chemotherapy sessions. Ronald house full. We absolutely loved it. Very spacious, all the facilities we needed, full kitchen, laundry, on site parking, within walking distance to food venues, there's a few food courts near by if walk around, Google isn't so helpful, a dairy on the corner with a lovely lady on counter, a kids playground around the back on the building but not of the quest. Staff are friendly and helpful, I found the house keeping team really awesome too. Thank you so much

Fantastic service, friendly very accommodating, arrived later in the evening the stereo & heat pump were on. It felt like we had come home! Will book again!!!Rooms: 5/5

I had high expections of our short stay in this apartment as everyone I had spoken to while making bookings etc had been lovely, perhaps they were the nice staff other reviews mention… First of all the cleanliness of this place is very questionable, the mark on one of our doors was perhaps chocolate or blood…we weren’t game to find out. The vents in the bathrooms were covered in dust and grime and as for the range hood in the kitchen and the lounge couch with undetermined stains…We had booked for five people but only had four sets of dinnerware and cutlery and four towels but thank goodness they had managed to set up a roll away bed! This hotel has a private residence on the top floor who are allowed to do whatever they please which includes letting off fireworks late at night… which leads me to our next incident….THE FIRE ALARM GOING OFF AT 2.30am…..THE DUTY MANAGER THEN SWITCHING IF OFF AND TELLING PEOPLE ITS OKAY JUST GO BACK TO BED!!! This certainly doesn’t make for a great sleep on the 16th floor of a hotel when you have no real official certainty that it’s safe for you and your family to do so. Apparently it was okay just to say “Go back to bed” as it was only someone burning dinner/toast or smoking in their room…depended who was asked the next morning!! I could go on about the carpark area being ridiculous or the whole place being outdated but I’ll end here saying DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
